Today I was waiting on someone to open Banishing Gate #2 (lol) and decided to take a walk around. After checking the broken stairs from where you gotta fall to get out of the Gate #2, I found a strange blank spot with some light in the stairs :S
I thought like, wtf, I'm sure this thing wasn't here before. It's on G-10 on second map, after Gate #1. I tried googlin' it to check for info, but couldn't find a thing... And curiosity is killing me O.o what is it for??

When checked, it says: The ground is sparkling with a strange light.

(I posted this here, because I assume it's for some quest, but since I tried looking into Garlaige's quest, didn't find anything either XD)

It's for the Lycopodium flower warpy thing mini-quest. I'm sure it has a name. probably.

Anyways, go to that same location in Garlaige [S] and there will be a Lycopodium there. Talk to it, and from that point in present-day Garlaige, if you trade a flower to the glowing spot, it will teleport you to the ledge just above it. There's a similar spot in Gustaberg where you can trade a flower to the base of the cliff that splits North Gustaberg in two and it will teleport you to the top.

if you check the bottom it says "See also: Lycopodium". id actually added that around 5 months ago so people would find out about the sparkly lights more easier

You can solo your Garliage Citadel coffer with this :3 Just gotta have a warp, some oils, and hope that no ones opened it before you or else you gotta wait to search again. Someone did it to me ._.

There are 3 of these spots, the one in Garliage, Gustaberg and one in Batallia Downs at the cliff to Beaucedine Glacier to help you get to the Eldieme entrance up there. You have to talk to the Lycopodium there at each area in the past once. To activate it you just trade a flower to the glowing spot in the same place in the present and it warps you up the ledge, cliff, hill.
