400 gil per charge now. You only pay when you go to have it recharged. You get the 1st 25 calls free, and if you play Chocobo Hot and Cold you can find Whistle coupons anyway.
Thursday, did you do any prior research before you started raising? Cause yeah... you can raise and ride. You can multitask quite a bit?

I actually did a lot of research on feeding and care plans etc. But its really hard to understand a lot of the guides =( And I didn't read anything about the whistle, thought I would read about it when it came around to it lol.
Ill have to play the hot and cold game then for sure, because I don't want to pay 400 gill per ride

Usually, most of the time you're gonna call your chocobo... You'd kill someone in front of their own mother for one.
Simply put though, no part of chocobo raising including riding stops your chocobo's development. They can only help. Do the in town NPC races to amass Chocobucks fast (albeit extremely expensive). It helps to have a completed Chocobo before you zerg one with these.

OMG *jealous* I use to want a green chocobo so much, but trying to find cards to breed was difficult enough (on alexander anyways) so I wasn't too picky about color. Hopefully when my current one hatches I'll finally have a male to breed with my females so I won't always have to be searching for someone with a chococard.
Congratulations on the adorable Choco Thursday, hopes its stats are rockin' now!

hey
I have a faq that says if I breed two chocobos and give them a Carob
nut, then I should get a green or blue chocobo. I've tried it 5-6 times
now and all I get are yellow ones, the same color as their parents. Am
I missing something? Do the parents have to come from certain regions,
or do they have to be "good chocobos" instead of "average" or "not bad"?
Help is desperately needed, because I want a gold chocobo!
Also, anyone know who I have to fight to steal a Zeio nut? Sorry if
these questions have been beaten to death. :-}
