Enlightened Chain
Vicious Mufflers
Penitent's Rope
Loquacious Earring
Omega Ring
Mahatma Slops
Phantom Tathlum

If you're going for max dmg replace your SCH AF body with errant/mahatma, get a desamilion's or phantom earring +1 instead of the loquacious earring, replace rostrum pumps with Yigit feet, replace the enlightened chain with Uggalepih Pendant or Elemental Torque.
That should be it ;/ I think.

Torque does NOT increase damage. It only helps with resist rates.
Ugly pendant is a yes though, to macro in when you hit low enough MP for it to take effect, otherwise, enlightened chain is best.
I'm guessing he's refering to EXP when he talks about this, as those numbers will only be see in a handful of end-game situations. That "Spike" of 1400 was a weather/double weather/day effect kicking in... which makes me sad that you've leveled to 75 on SCH *a job that manipulates weather* and don't understand what weather and day does to your nukes....
Places to improve: Goliard or Yigit boots, Ugly pendant when @ half MP, replace loquacious w/ an earring that gives +2 INT or a novio earring if you can. Errant/mahatma body, 2nd Snow Ring or Tamas Ring. And FFS... get sea obis and use weather spells.... That will be the single best improvement you'll see over everything else listed, and it's improvement grows with each piece listed.

Ugly pendant when @ half MP
If we take his avatar as given, one or two casts of Stone I should bring him to half MP.

You're a scholar! Use sea obis.
It probably be beneficial for you to just google search for a damage calculator. Bashfr's online calculator is a good example of one.
Actually, you should probably just read the Calculating Magic Damage page @ FFXIclopedia or the identical BG-wiki page. Learning how the numbers are put together will give you a better answer than anything.

Has it been proven that the INT boost from errant/mahatma outweights the actual skill boost AF body gives to Dark Arts?
Just seems to me it makes sense that skill boosts have more of an effect than INT

Int adds accuracy and damage. (the rate of accuracy is unquantified as far as I know)
Skill adds accuracy.
If accuracy isn't a problem [read: "on (most?) xp mobs"] Int should win.
Also
Prudence > enlightened. (for damage) so prud/ugly when acc doesn't matter.
Elemental neck when it does.
Int ear + moldy if you don't have a way to get a novio.
2x snow if you really want "max damage"

As a Galka SCH I don`t really have much use for Uggy Pendant. If I`m below half MP I probably don`t have enough to cast anything anyway.

See sig.
<3 Morgana's Cotehardie. Not efficient, but sure is fun for big numbers. Maybe the new SCH group 2 merit ability to enhance magic accuracy, will make Morgana's Cotehardie a better piece for real situations.

I'd probably use it during Tabula Rasa since it would stack with Focalization and Ebullience, but I'm not sure about it otherwise.

Their soft silk AF makes good Taru recliners!
And they're supa adorable as well! <3
If Focalization would give as much m.acc as an Elemental Seal, 2 strategems would totally be worth it!

The absolute best nuking gear I would think is:
HQ Staff or Dorje or Tupsimati
Scholar's Mortarboard +1
Morgana's Cotehardie
Gleeman's Cape
Wise Strap (if it procs)
Uggalepih Pendant
Vicious Mufflers
Sea Obi (with the corresponding weather)
Novio Earring
Moldavite earring
Snow Ring
Tamas/Snow Ring
Mahatma Slops
Phantom Tathlum
Yigit Crackows
HQ Staff or Dorje or Tupsimati
Scholar's Mortarboard +1
Morgana's Cotehardie
Gleeman's Cape
Wise Strap (if it procs)
Uggalepih Pendant
Vicious Mufflers
Sea Obi (with the corresponding weather)
Novio Earring
Moldavite earring
Snow Ring

You're stacking a ton of MAB into that, I'd put a little more focus on INT in some pieces.
Wise Strap is garbage.

Refresh theory? And I stand behind my statement that it is great for EXP and group limbus.

I meant maximum nuking build rather than best. Not exactly sure what a necrobump is, but I don't mean to criticize anyone, just replying to what was being said.
