So I got the game and am playing it now^^ Awesome game!^^ But i can't seem to connect to the LittleBigPlanet online server. Now do you think thats because too many people are on at one or... I'm not really suppose to have it >_>

From what I remember of the beta, you had to complete a few levels in single player first before you were allowed to get access to multiplayer. Unless you already did that, then they might just be down.

Probably to patch. I know that they released 1.02 very recently.

What I see here is that Sony did something out of good will to a people, even if it was just a small contingent of their entire userbase, and the rest of the userbase is feeling jealously entitled to some special treatment themselves.

I don't know what you mean by "special treatment," but the idea that Sony was just being nice by pissing a large number of people off so they wouldn't upset a small number of people doesn't make a lot of sense. That suggests it was due, more than anything, to the source of the outrage, which is further reinforced by this.

Bad comparison.

The Church that filed the complaint did so several months after the game was released. They also wanted the game pulled entirely off the shelves instead of just "patched".

They were also seeking financial reparation for God knows what.

This is a FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR cry from the LBP situation, where the group that filed the complaint only asked for a patch before release to fix the situation and nothing else.
