I just found out about it tonight on my "My Yahoo!" page theatre listings. I have seen the other Oliver Stone films about two past Presidents: JFK and Nixon, and I may go watch this regardless of how much I dislike Bush Jr. I didn't like Nixon the President either, but I still saw the movie Oliver Stone made about him.
It seems to be an interesting take on Bush Jr.'s life and his rise to power as the President of this country according to what I've read about the film.
My favorite quotes from movie reviews would have to be from Roger Ebert:
"Wounded by his father's disapproval and preference for his brother Jeb, the movie argues, George W. Bush rose and rose until he was finally powerful enough to stain his family's legacy."
Looks like George Sr. was playing favorites, and if going by the movie, George Jr. became a President to spite him and show how much better he was, or try to, than his brother Jeb. It sounds a lot like sibling rivalry-- trying to prove oneself over the other, to gain the attention of their parent or parents. Eventually, it seems according to the movie, that did more harm than good to the Bush family name.
"One might feel sorry for George W. at the end of this film, were it not for his legacy of a fraudulent war and a collapsed economy. The film portrays him as incompetent to be president, and shaped by the puppet masters Cheney and Rove to their own ends. If there is a saving grace, it may be that Bush will never fully realize how badly he did. How can he blame himself? He was only following God's will."
All I can say here: "If something happened or went wrong, it was God's will." Now, where did I hear that phrase before ...?

Note: Talk about the movie, and not your political views. Or, try to keep your criticism and opinion of Bush to a minimum. The last topic regarding politics was locked because it got derailed.
