I had a question for all of you Black Mages out there.
Do you know of a camp guide for lower level manaburn partys?
with the new level sync feature, it might be possible to get lower level manaburn partys going easily.

My friends and i were doing Qufim island level sync @ 22-24 fighting crabs, we managed to get some pretty insane experience out there.
just wondering if any of you might be able to shed some light/ideas on some lower level manaburn camps. i don't think we can do Qufim island crabs forever. (were running out of level 22's lfg)

Currently our lowest static member is 28. Basically starting from level 20-60 camps would be helpful.
3+ party size is fine if you know any or could point me in the right direction.
I don't mind doing a bit of research/ testing on camps if i can find the time.

That's a start, but i am trying to stray away from pet mobs in general unless there is nothing else.
reasons:
1. they are overcrowded to begin with. solo jobs (blm from my experience) are hard enough to level now with /dnc meles at pet camps.

2. i don't want to steal camps/ use camps that are fitted more for the solo, i have had my share of camps being stolen or occupied by duo's/ trio's/ other solo's, and with nowhere else to go for solo, it just plain sucks. i would not want to advise this to anyone who might stumble upon this post for that reason alone.

3. there are camps out there fitted more for blm burns that would not require taking on pets. (i just need to find them)

4. unless teamwork is perfect with roaming pets and their masters there is a wide margin for error; aggro from surrounding mob/master, limit on chains due to summoning, pulling, and aggro. (i may be competent but i cant vouch for the other 2 to 5 goobers in my party.)

5. limited mob = limited experience. and god forbid i piss off someone soloing/planning to solo and they come back on 1337sauce75job and kill the Beastmaster/ Summoner. -15min respawn.

Good info though, maybe some of the less used camps (higher HP pets) could be viable.

If i am wrong on any of this please let me know, i would rather find out now versus looking like more of a noobtard than i already is.

ffxiatlas has a bestiary search where you can put in # and level of party members and locate monsters by xp gain

they have not updated their easy and decent monster xp, and no one has mentioned if the site is still hacked or not

but if you have firefox with noscript add-on, it shouldn't be a problem

I would think worms would be a good target to mana-burn at various levels.

They don't move so bring a rdm or whm along to silence them and you've got a mob that just sits there waiting to die.

sub /nin if possible to avoid the random spell that goes off.

Also they can be aspired and drained to reduce resting time.

can't really say where to go at what level, but campsitarus (ffxi-atlas mobs database) could probably help w/ that.
