hi, i have 75drg cor and soon bst.. after my bst i want an easier job to get invites on, i solod my drg to 75, im soloing my bst (reason i did cor after drg was to take it a bit easier on the invite side of things) so im wondering ...

since ALOT of my bst stuff can move over to war, should i do war?
whats the benefits war has over BLU(the other job im concidering)?
would war ever be more useful than cor for anything? and
what are invites like pre merits?
IS IT FUN? (i know different people find different things fun but what was YOUR experiance on fun parts of war)

like i say, soloing 2 jobs and only pting with 1.. so i really havnt noticed what jobs get invites (except the obvious brd, rdm cor nin etc.)


so if you could answer these questions on lvling war it would be greatly apreciated, also any tips, like what weapon to use etc. would be great too..

It will help having leveled bst already, youraxe should be capped so it won't be as much of a struggle to get to the top with capped Gaxe as well. War's are pretty high in demand still as psuedo-tanks at lower lvls and even two wars can tank most pts sharing hate i would imagine. Overall I don't think its too far out of reach to say that WAR will be easier lvling, more invites, etc, if that is what you are looking for. To me blu would just get annoying from trying to learn spells, but I fail at blue magic. id go for it, im in the process of lvling bst right now and then i plan on lvling drk then war, it helps having gear and skills that transfer over other jobs. oh yeah /drg ftw it will keep things more interesting if it gets boring

Lol, this is exactly the same reasoning I have for doing Bst. Grab some Gaxe merits and you'll be golden.

You don't look like a terrorist, for one. War also gets more invites. The only downside is that you cannot solo, but then again, you already have bst and loldrg. As mentioned, war has moderate tanking ability, and is generally quite useful end-game.

Gaxe until 55, then axes /nin. At 60 Gaxe becomes viable again with Raging Rush, so depending on merits/gear either one. Though it probably doesn't need to be said, only use axe if you are /nin, otherwise you just look like an idiot. Unless, of course, you are for whatever reason /thf. Then use an axe and tag a unsuspecting mage with Mighty Strikes > TA > Mistral Axe @ 300% TP at the start of a fight for major lulz.
