who here has actually sent mail to the admins here requesting a flame wars board? i call bs on it being by popular demand. prolly just couldnt handle all the flame wars in other threads and are trying to put it all in one place so its easier to manage!

Two years ago the original flame wars were close. Alot of people used to have fun in there, we decided to bring it back.
Add: The old archived flames wars are still alive and will be viewable to the public at a later date.

I has a question, since flame wars is back does that mean flaming is no longer/less tolerated in the other forums?

We got rid of Flame Wars in the first place because it degenerated into more spam than actual flames and the number of reports we got on threads inside were overflowing. Decided to bring it back when we had the newer forum system and a fresh start on whats allowed/not allowed. Spam and misc type posts actually have a home now in the Lounge, for example.

I remember I used to lurk this board back in the day and loved it. I'm very pleased it's brought back - almost like Christmas.
