It's not so much the ban that pisses me off, it's the morality argument "oh think of the children!" bullshit that politicians like to pull to appease soccer (read "hockey" for Canadians) moms. I rest easy knowing something like that wouldn't easily happen here, because if anything our supreme court still has some sense left. I assume you're talking about the Japanese comics, right? I have bad news for you, but when people here in the U.S. realize that the majority of these books are thinly disguised kiddie porn, out they go. Probably sooner if a child molester is caught with them (I can only hope).
