Meh, not enough tests to convince me to buy one, but I wouldn't put it past SE to make that the latent.

Even if that is the latent, doesn't Morrigan's Robe still beat it? 8 INT > 3 MAB, etc? I mean, sure it might be better resist gear, but I'm not convinced I care that much.

Morrigan's Robe does beat it but for all of us who don't have one, this is a nice alternative.

its that retarded 8 MAB thing with -8 magic acc on it
and for people that need to learnmath you need aobut 9-10 MAB to beat out morri body.
Ga III 8 INT vs 3 MAB would be close however. and cap spells stone I, bio , etc

Theory is that Refresh activates a hidden latent effect and turns the Macc-8 into Macc+8.

It would be pretty solid for RDM nuking then, I'd think. More Macc than Morrigan's, they can self-refresh, and MAB is worth more for them because they start with less so it might be more even?

I call bullshit on this.
On puddings, I'd have a very, very low resist rate nuking this thing regardless. From the first nuke (when auto refresh wasn't going), to any other nukes.
When I did get resisted, it was at the standard rate that I would wearing my normal gear, freak occurrences that really had no basis. I had the thing for weeks and never noticed any sort of pattern to my resists.

I doubt that it would work with Auto-Refresh. Seems to me that you would need the actual Refresh icon on. I'm calling bull for now though, it is ridiculously good for RDM and it's also easy as crap to get. (not to mention cheap!)

I honestly call BS on it personally also. That being said I'm almost tempted to get one and test it myself...

Me too, going to wait till we get one from Sandworm and ask to test it before we sell it. :3

Yeah, the best way to test that is on RDM.. on manaburning on BLM you don't exactly have refresh too often.

I have one, lol...
I also have RDM 75.
I haven't done any conclusive testing. The most I've done was solo some roaches on Mount Zhayolm for a little while. But, like Amentis, I didn't notice any freak resists while not under refresh icon. Resist didn't occur any more often than they would normally, same with me on BLM at puddings (which is the only time I really use it.) It would be nice if it were true...but I don't really care enough to do more in depth testing.

I agree with the topic title.
Can they be less:
1. Vague- Instead of saying "Enhances Double Attack", say Double Attack +5%).
2. Inconsistent descriptions - Why is Double Attack +1 really Double Attack +3%, why don't they just say Double Attack +3%". Why "Enhances DA" or "DA+1"? Just show the percent.
3. Secretive - So many stuff has hidden effects, also can they say what percent and what everything does instead? For example, when DRK learns "Attack Bonus", can they say "Attack Bonus +10" instead of just "Attack Bonus"?
I know they're lazy and don't want to add all the text to the items but Blizzard did it with Diablo 2, no matter how many things are on an item, they're all shown(even if the item text takes up the whole screen).
Also, why can't they just show the stats for accuracy, evasion, etc?
Also, why does the formula for things like Treasure Hunter have to be a company secret?
