I really hate standing on a soap box because it draws attention and a lot of the time, the WRONG attention at times but I have to.

I have a proposition for all of you. I say we make a collaboration of FFXI skits, sequences, music videos whatever, maybe about 1 minute in length each, and send that in for SE. The movie contest has always been a part of fanfest but even if there is no contest, no reward or anything, it still would be nice to have our work displayed on screen in between events or at the beginning of the festival or anywhere really. Also another idea is for all of us to send in those works that haven't been displayed to the fans, because many of them haven't seen them or have any knowledge of them yet and this would be a prime time to show them. I have my idea for the 1 minute collaboration skit but it's going to take more than just me to do this. Will any of you video editors, old and new, join this tiny project?

Sounds like a great idea. But how do you know Square Enix will do something with it? It would be great if they showed some user video’s to the audience of the fanfest though, even if it are video’s that already exist.

Yea, there is no guarantee but it does not hurt to try either.
