Nothing special you get to meet him when finishing a mythic anyway afaik but the whole eidolon thing its pretty out of (line?) last time that was in a FF was 9 wasnt it? *atomos*

Eidolon was FFIXs summons iirc.

Don't you have to fight him to finish mythic weapons? I recall SE saying there was a BC at the end. Which makes me want to upgrade one, shame I only have a finite amount of playing time.

It just means that's an astral projection of him. The true him appears to be a boss in Wing II Einherjar right now. Seems he had some problems as a BLU near the end.
