Is Goldsmithing 100 worth the amount of time/gil anymore? or should i just quit my quest while im ahead (currently 52, plan on taking it to 60 soon, long term wanted to take it 100).

If not, what would be the general census on the most reliable day to day craft.

I think your real question should be: what are the chances I'll quit before I get anywhere near 100?

Seriously, if you've taken gold to 50+ and still not learned to investigate and research info, then the answer is no, it ins't worth it.

On the other hand, if it was just a lazy day for you and you usually do your research, the answer is of course it is - all crafts are worth taking to 100.

Gold between 0-50 is nothing compared to 50-60. 60+ is something completely different. Just see how you get on. I just hope you have a good income of gil before you start, otherwise it will potentially take you years.

100 is definitely worth it even though i do struggle at times financially, HQ's tend to not sell as fast as i like to shit them out and i sit around with a bazaar full of things and like 100k - 5mil on me lol

and yes, 0-50 is a walk in the park, your not even close yet, stop while your ahead. Goldsmithing to 60 would be worth it definitely as it makes a good subcraft for other things, but if i had to do it all over again i'd have stuck it to 60 and leveled a faster, less glamorous craft to 100 instead and been making bank long ago, it took me 3yrs to finish my journey skilling up one of those years was an off year though, i lingered at 70ish skill for about a year cuz i said fuck it it's too hard... then this wonderful thing called inflation happened and i sold a weskit i paid 600k for.. for 15mil anyway, good luck.
