A forum should be a place to convene together and determine information from another player, and answer questions as politely and decently as possible without insults and bantering another poster because you consider their intelligence not equivalent to yours. If you want to point fingers and laugh at another person, don't do it here. Do it in flame wars if you think it's appropriate and within reason.

If Starr promises to behave and the other posters promise not to flame anymore, then consider this thread on its last leg before it's locked until the behavior and maturity improves.

I'm willing to stop the flames but I doubt he will since he clearly thinks he's the smartest person on KI. You might also want to tell Sephire to read your post since he's pretty much doing the same.

It's why I don't obsess over calculations. This is a game and not a mathematics course or an e-peen contest. If you want to do math, then go take a mathematics course.

Bless you both IRL; why I don't even deal in parsers. It is handy to know the math however, if you wish to tweak your job a tad more.

I prefer being able to do good at events and such. Also I'm not a fan of the herd mentality. Which is what I'll be if I just blindly followed what everyone said as the truth. Heck, I wouldn't be a Dragoon if I did that and have realized how strong the job was if I didn't level it on my own (pre-2hander patch and all that). In order to do that, I need to be able to use math in the game.

By the way october, you're being a hypocrite by agreeing with Sephire. You're telling me to stop saying I'm better then someone else yet siding with someone who's saying the same thing but worded differently >.>
