I was wondering if anyone knows of a site or has a sheet of what the normal spell damage is per spell? Myself and the fiance are going to start duoing BLMs from 60 together and I want to try and cut unneeded MP usage down (using AM when 2 Tier 3s would kill it).

from 60 on, dont even bother using AM anymore. just spam T3 on rats in subterrain.

Depending on your INT and magic attack bonus, every person's spell will do a different damage. Also depends on the Monster.

After about an hour of solo'ing you will learn what is overkill and what is just perfect/safe even if you get a resist.

I think i read somewhere that drain has the best damage per mp ratio of any spell. It can do 300+ for only 21 mp ^^.

Don't use AM unless you are soloing pets, and it will one shot them. Huge waste of mp if you are just using them to cast.

Manaburns are different, depending on how many blms you have etc, could get away with 6 Tier III's etc.

As for a chart?

I don't know of any that has a "base damage" of every spell.

My spells do something like...

tier 1 : 100
tier 2 : 200-300
Tier III : 500-1000
Tier IV : 1000-1800

But that's full endgame gear on a merited taru sad.gif.
