I am wondering how i can improve, just sometimes i feel like my damage returns for a full hit is lack luster. How much damage do you normally do on birds. Mine seems to be around 700-900 just self buffed just looking for advice

my ws setup for RR and KJ ws are as fallowed

Main: Byakkos Axe
Sub: Pole Grip
Ammo: Fire Bomblet
Head: Askar Zuchetto
Neck: Breeze/Snow
Ear1: Fowling Earring
Ear2: Brutal Earring
Body: Haubergeon
Hands: Fighter's Mufflers +1
Ring1: Rajas Ring
Ring2: Flame Ring
Back: Cerberus Mantle
Waist: Warwolf Belt
Legs: Byakko's Hiadate
Legs: Hecatomb leggings


Merits: 7/8 GA 3 Zerk/Aggressor 4 DA, 4 Crit, 5/5 Str

stats are 429 attack with +40 str +37 dex and 19 accuracy unbuffed

Food i eat is Couerl Subs

Last time I parsed on birds my WS avg. was 1000ish and my gear is:

Byakko's/Pole/Bomblet
Heca/Gorget/Assault/Brutal
Adaberk/Heca/Rajas/Triumph
Cerb/Warwolf/Byakko/Heca

had no Gaxe merits tho and now I have 8.

So 700-900 for you sounds pretty normal.

The biggest factor would be BRD or COR buffs... 700-900 with none is good, with 2 Minuet or Chaos roll should be closer to 1k.

If by self-buffed you mean Berserk/Aggressor I don't understand why your attack is so low.
I have 440 atk without Berserk/Food, 548 with Zerk up and 613 with a mithkabob on, which you should be spamming on G.Colibris, it's cheap.

Sorry the stats i listed below are what i have unbuffed, and i normally use Couerl Subs for food. With Beserk im around close too 600 attack think. I kinda typed that quick this morning i was wondering what i could mostly do to improve my ws damage or if i am about where i should be

I don't go WAR to birds anymore...

Since Drg got buffed and my SAM reached 75, there's just no point.

I was only Raging Rush for around 1100 average, when a polearm on these does 1500+.
