My Dragoon is 67, i was told that the best results for penta thrust doing alot of damage was getting a lot of acc + gear. but my penta thrust are doing 280-400 on mobs in caederva mire.... i was even subbing war... if i stack up on STR and DEX then my acc will go down which will cause alot of it to miss. now what road should i take?... whats the best way to spike my dmg..

Don't use sushi, use coeurl subs or if you're cheap use kabobs then make up for the lost acc in gear.

The only gear I can see that needs and update is your strap, switch to Pole Strap (2% Double attack). You already got a good acc build. If you notice that you get 5/5 hits often then try switch out some acc for more str, attack and dex.

But the big danmage difference comes from the food. You have 2 acc bonus trait + 2hand weapon so acc shouldn't be a problem.

your gear seems to be in order for the most part. the pole strap im not an advocate of I prefer the Mythril Grip + 1 myself yeah the double attack is nice but the mythril seems to me to give more ga for the gil but thats really here nor there the only glaring thing i see is where is the AJ youre 67 it awaits you in Labyrinth of Onzozo get some friends and go get that fucker. Assuming your acc is adequate this will pump up your ws dmg significantly and you gonna say but my acc will go down if i use that and yes it will but you macro it in and out on ws i guarantee your avg will go up.

I just pretty much concur with the first two replies, you have acc out the ass in gear and DRG already got alot through 2hand and job traits, so meat meat meat meat and more meat, always.

swap out the ACC gear for Attack gear if you really need the ACC gear

Almost true, the stun grip has its uses, I never bothered getting one tho.

Get a Dark Mezraq, it will not only help you, but it also helps the rest of the melee.

at this lvl you won't get high WS damages with penta. stick with Wheeling Thrust, it should give you 450-500 ones~
