As stated in the topic, does anyone know what Pankration command makes Wivres primarily use Granite Skin?

"Guard! Block! Parry! Hold!" certainly doesn't seem to do it.

As a general rule, mobs will not use the ability you want. In fact, they will try AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO NOT USE a good ability.

Oh and it's more or less random.

So why is Ballista here then? It's not player versus player, it's players character versus players character, lets face it folks, until we all start buying plan tickets and duking it out in real life and leaving the e-peens behind there is no player versus player in Final Fantasy XI.

I'm going to make a guess and think that you need to get your mob to be rather defensive. I've got a fairly aggressive Diremite who exclusively uses Double Claw.

From what i understood. Telling a pet to be more defensive, over and over will make it try to be more defensive. So to get it to do Granite skin more, maybe you need to tell it to be more defensive as much as possible for several fights and it will begin to do that.

My wivre is already Very Defensive. I spammed "Guard! Block! Parry! Hold!" all the way to LV40ish.

"Watch your opponent, then attack!" seems to make it use Demoralizing Roar.
