Just wondering from a theoretical standpoint - if you had a Sorcerer' Petasos and you also had 3/3 on morrigan body, and you owned a genie weskit ~3 mil ish

Would it be wise to just sell the weskit and have ~half the money needed get the body?

If you really really needed that elemental magic skill that the Genie Weskit offers, you could just wear the hat correct (For HNM/sky/sea mobs)?

moment i got my machas i sold genie and got morri robe(kinda stole 2m from somebody, but they quit and ill pay them back w/e they decide to play again). owning af2 hat will do nothing on the choice you make.

im thinking since you have the blm af2 hat, which has a good amount of elemental skill on it, you probably wouldnt need the body if you had M.Robe + AF2 hat

the high int of the morrigan body would replace the int lost by not wearing wzd petasos and wearing the af2 hat instead

On slightly resistant mobs you'd be shooting for the 320/120 (330/130) [elel skill/Int] setup, which can be achieved w/o any genie/igquira gear. (morri body is great here)

On heavily resistant mobs it's something like 320-330 skill then shoot for 140-150 int, which also can be done w/o any genie/igquira. (errant/mahatma body ftw)

Get the rest of your gil for morri, sell genie, never look back.

Not only will you be purple but you'll also be nuking harder too with Morrigan's. 2 INT = 1 MAB = approx 9 MAB on Morrigan's not to mention that the INT alone on it effects resist rates. I usually nuke somewhere over the 140 INT range with Robe, Prudence torque, Morri slops etc. My resist rates are pretty much floored on most things with so much INT, sell the Genie because you'll never be using it after you get Morrigan's.

lol...dude gtfo. I consistently outparse other BLMs, by a lot. Realize most HNMs INT is around 110, every single INT you stack over 10 over that 110 mark counts basically as a single Elemental Magic Skill. Learn the facts, any BLM that knows what they're doing will either nuke HNMs in Errant Body or Morrigan's Robe. The 320/120 rule is a guideline that most BLMs have decided is the last word on nuking HNMs in, it's not though so lol. Genie is nice but definitely NOT worth keeping post-Morrigan's Robe.

are you dense? ever heard of 320/120? getting that with morrigan's robe delivers less dmg output than genie weskit. with morrigan's robe, you HAVE to use sorc. petasos or some other form of elemental skill in another spot, thus losing INT/MAB. with genie weskit, you only need wzd.gloves+1 & elementaltorque/prudence torque based on which staff (gloves+torque for anything other than ice nuking).
