"In November 2008, we discovered an issue that allowed players to create multiple items for certain treasures and rewards in areas such as Salvage and Assault by exploiting the game system.

The issue was fixed during emergency maintenance on November 26, 2008. However, we discovered that some players had already exploited the issue and used it to gain additional items before it was addressed. We then investigated more than a year's worth of logs throughout all areas.

As a result of the investigation, approximately 400 players were temporarily suspended based on the evidence gathered. Approximately 550 players who committed more serious misconduct had their accounts banned.

We are working hard to ensure that these kinds of issues do not occur again in FINAL FANTASY XI. However, if you discover any problems with the game system, please submit a GM call or fill out the feedback e-mail form to report the problems to us, instead of exploiting or spreading the issue.

We thank you for your cooperation in this matter. "

Just curious as to who, if anyone has been affected by this on Diabolos? Everyone on my friend list seems to be okay, let us know if you yourself or anyone you know has been suspended, please.

i haven't seen those cheats done.... but i have seen some whack Arse campaign cheats. ive been doing a ton of them trying to get wings so i could get my cobra pants. ive watched people tank mobs that they couldn't tank, ive watched people fight 1-20 yags at once. i've seen all kinds of stuff. its gotot the point now if i see it happening. i just cash out my points and leave the area. i've contacted GM's and told them i have screen shots, video's, witnesses. and they simply say the'll look into it. Then they send you a tell saying for you to contact the Task Force with this issue in the future. in order to do that you have to log out of ffxi. but a GM could simply pop in right were i'm at and watch but they have yet to do so. so i've given up and just leave he area.

i'm tired of doing what im supposed to do. and then they do nothing. GM's and the task force are a joke.

I never seen anything Like that In campaign battle, (campaign is my drug of choice)
