Just noticed today that even after level synch has been removed your wyvern remains capped. Accidentally joined my friends level 10 synch pt when I was coming to raise them, synch was removed and when I triggered healing breath III...I got a 79 hp return...then got a 215 return with Deep Breathing and wyrm armet. I assume this is due to capped HP. I had to Dismiss/Call Wyvern to return her stats to normal.
Just thought I would bring this up, don't want any drgs getting caught with their pants down because of it. May affect other pets as well. I'll probably make a report for SE once I am feeling a little more ambitious.

they used to, it was great for bcnms and capped fights.

No they only bugged the lvl of the breath, so you could have a lvl 3 breath in a lvl 20 bc but the wyverns hp got capped.

I am aware of this, however this is not a bug and is not what I am referring to. You use the example of a lvl 20 Bc so I'll go with that. The way the bug works is like this.
You are a lvl 75 drg accompanied by a lvl 75 wyvern.
You enter a lvl 20 bc or level sync pt.
Both dragoon and wyvern are capped at lvl 20.
Dragoon leaves bc or level sync party.
Dragoon's level is restored to lvl 75.
Wyvern remains at lvl 20 until dismiss/recall or possibly zone.
Do you see the problem here?

yes that is a problem, I wonder if PUPs and BSTs have that problem as well....

Yes, it works the same way with PUP at least. When you level sync on PUP, it requires you to deactivate your automaton before sync or else it kills it; you can already check your automatons level as well, which makes more sense in this system. When level sync is taken off, the automaton is still the level of sync, and you must reactivate it to return it to the normal level. I don't think its a bug.
