Hey all, I just have a couple of questions regarding this flourish.
Is there some reason why I see more dancers -not- using it than using it? I may just be unlucky, but making parties recently I've been finding that, when dual-healing with another DNC (Most in sync'd parties vs. colibri in the 50's) they seem to barely touch this ability, if ever. Today I was in a party with a Dancer who didn't use steps, and didn't use any flourishes. She just stood there, and tossed out heals when she had some TP.. though when she got feather tickle'd it was a good few minutes before she was any use again. I find myself always using it as soon as I have 4-5 finishing moves (4 coincides with the flourish II's timer roughly, so i usually pop it straight off). Am I missing some reason why this might not be desirable? Why pass up the chance to debuff the mob -and- get 20-30 tp extra every 30 seconds? Either I'm missing something big, or these dancers are retarded. (They arent even using finishing moves for anything else, desperate flourish or violent flourish are better than nothing)
Secondly, I was wondering whether, in a DD situation, it's worth using finishing moves on building flourish etc or saving them and popping a 5-finishing move reverse flourish straight after the WS to get you closer to being back at 100%? The question is basically is it more efficient to save that extra 20 tp or so, or to gain however much added damage the Building flourish gives.
Reverse Flourish Couple of questions

1: The DNC you partied with sucks
2: Yes, in a pure DD situation, doing 2 WS back to back will benefit you more. And later on with RF merits you can self SC for even more damage.

reverse flourish is one of the greatest abilities you can use. getting free TP for a quick cure or thrown in WS helps out in any party. being able to use it every 30 seconds makes it a often-used move, i think many people might just choose to use their finishing moves elsewhere; possibly on stunning or gravity.
once you merit building flourish its pretty good dmg with chainbound, but for a main-curing party you'll end up reverse flourishing much more often. and you can now merit reverse so that you get even moar TP every 30 seconds xD
many dncs you'll find yourself partying with suck, don't follow their example.

I don't even know why you would lvl a job if you were going to suck that bad, lol wut. Was in a pt the other day in GC and we killed bats every now and then and since we had a rdm main heal I erased the attack down from sonic boom I'd save tp during beetle fights and build steps and I'd spam healing waltz and reverse flourish in the mean time to maintain high amounts of tp for O-crap moments. But then I'd use a violent flourish as to not waste getting 2 finishing moves each time I'd use a step also, I usually dont even use RF w/o 5 finishing moves

i usually used RV with 4 moves. 15 seconds for each step then 30 seconds for RV, seemed logical to use it @4 for 46tp then to wait another 15 seconds for 60
step > step > rv = 46 tp, step > step > rv = another 46, step > step > rv = 138 tp in 1.5 minute
step > step > step > rv = 60tp, step > step > step > rv = 120tp in 1.5min
if i added that right? idk, it always seemed to me better to use it @4 rather then use another step first. maybe jus cause the recasts worked better that way.
step > step > rv = 46 tp, step > step > rv = another 46, step > step > rv = 138 tp in 1.5 minute
step > step > step > rv = 60tp, step > step > step > rv = 120tp in 1.5min

130TP in 1.5min, you'll waste a FM if you do 3 steps, so add a stun flourish into it.

Without sifting through garbage... Anyone that doesn't use Reverse Flourish is a dipshit skinbag. Also, I saw something about 4/5 finishing move Reverse' and I must say... Yup. Unless of course you are actually stunning, which isn't bad, in which case might as well wait till 5/5. Also, on a semi-side note, NOONE MERIT FUCKING BUILDING FLOURISH. 10% atk speed and retardedly awesome Reverse' ftw tbh. hi2u, I'm new.

Uh. It's called AGREEING. If no one posted after somebody else had said the same thing, message boards wouldn't exist. Asking if it's obvious enough? Sakka fucking bolded it in his/her quote and said quoted for m-fing truth. M'kay?

Ah, my apologies then. I've dealt with too many smug schmucks on boards who add smilie faces at the end of posts as an extra jab in the ribs to the person they're responding to. I assumed that was the case... But apparently not! Sorry about that. ^^ <3 the avatar, by the way.

Np, Thx, and srsly, you are the first person to either notice it, or care enough to say something. RL Pokemanz ftw.

It's reading topics like this that make me want to level Dancer just for the sake of being better than most of them. >.>

Being the best dancer is about the same as being the best poppet. Sure, you'll do half decent at minor things, but you'll always be mediocre at best.

It doesn't matter if my PUP is almost useless when I have other 75s, the key is when I out parse someone on it or do better at whatever I can mock them insistently for days, getting other ls members to join in.
Sure you will still be a loljob, but at least you can put some people underneath you! At least you won't be on the very bottom. But the whole I could do that better than you basically landed me in my accidental maat's cap quest just because I want to know how all the jobs work, which in the end backfires because then you really see how terrible most players are.

Who's to say what things in this game are "major" and "minor"? DNC is by far one of the strongest soloing jobs in the game. If soloing is your thing... then soloing is "major" to you. That puts you at much better than "half decent" or "mediocre" on something that is much more than a "minor thing".
