ever since penta-thrust stopped returning 100 tp dragoons have sucked!


but no, they are -much- better now. fixed 2hr, better 2h weapons, much better gear options, and angon have increased drgs greatly.

good for brd meritpos on birds and pretty good for TP burning something with a ls.

also, your wyvern waves and does backflips when you /emote now xD

i have alot of fun on drg, but unless i'm doing like a nq limbus run i don't get to pull it out for events. its easily replaced in almost every endgame activity by any other melee dd

DD for most part are interchangeable now days assuming you're well geared, and Angon is extremely powerful on just about anything you're meleeing, and it by itself warrants bringing a drg for some events.

Having a Black belt MNK, a decently geared SAM and PLD with a mediocre DRG, I find myself bringing DRG to things as much as my other jobs. Angon is great, but I've found the best part of DRG is the hate shedding Jumps provide.
