Ninjas must exhibit the strictest discipline while studying the Eastern arts of deadly combat and illusion magic to become unparalleled assassins.

Ninja Hakama
Ninja Hakama are made of black cloth covering the upper thigh, and are beautifully designed. Women, except TaruTaru, wear form fitting tights.

Ninja Kyahan
These gaiters protect the feet and shins. They are fastened especially tight to the calves to decrease blood flow and lighten the feet.
Ninja Hatsuburi
This protective mask forms a frame around the face and is made from hammered iron coated in black lacquer. The name Rappaseems to be taken from a group of Ninja from the East.
(Rappa which is the name attached to the beginning of all the Ninja AF gear. It means rogue or spy, and shares this meaning with the Suppa of Suppanomimi.
As a side note, Koga AF gear is named for probably the most famous school of ninjutsu in Japanese history. It originated in the city of Koka in Shiga prefecture. They have a homepage here:
City-Koka-Shiga)
Ninja Chainmail
A shirt of small, metal rings make up the bulk of this sleeveless dogi. For extra protection, the neck, shoulders, and abdomen are reinforced with metal plates.
Ninja Tekko
These gloves protect the fingers and forearms, and are fastened tight with belts.
Emotions Passed On

As a heartless assassin, Yomi's final mission involved decoding some old documents from twenty years ago. To shed some light on the mystery, she travelled to Altepa desert and met the adopted grandson of pirate inventor, Mitsunari the Poisonclaw. The young boy was left with a wooden box made by the late master craftsman, but what could be inside.
People raise children to pass on their beliefs and desires. Yomi, who lived the life of a Shinobi, and Mitsunari, the skilled inventor, both let their dreams live on through their beloved children.
Yomi

Yomi was an exceptional kunoichi who died ten years ago, passing along her strength and skill to her daughter, the Mythril Musketeer Ayame. She was a prodigy, inheriting the ways of the Shinobi from her father in Norg. Despite being a natural born fighter, she was also caring and fell in love with the pirate Ensetsu. Together, they conceived Ayame and left Norg for Bastok.
In Bastok they lived a quiet life, and even bore a second daughter, named Kaede. However, soon after delivery, Yomi lost her life.
Ninja is an Eastern term meaning Stealthy One; someone who can conceal themselves with skill. It does not simply entail swinging a katana and being patient. Before walking the path of the Shinobi, Yomi found something to live for; she wished to be a great mother. Now as Kaede watches her sister Ayame fight for her desires, she comes to understand what the path of the Shinobi means.
(Kunoichi is a slang word for a female ninja.)

Jusatsu is a cursed note, a rectangular slip of paper with an incantation written upon it. It’s often depicted as being stuck upon someone and then harming/killing them in some fashion.
The elemental line of ninjutsu uses the same as Tonko. Even though it’s often offensive in nature, the purpose of Tonpou is to conceal or protect oneself by disrupting the enemy via use of the elements. Gotonpou, or the Five Concealing Magics (something like that) were originally Earth, Wood, Water, Fire, Metal. Obviously, they were altered for the in-game elements. By the way, anyone remember Battle Beasts?)

Weapons and Armor
Shiranui
Shiranui refers to the mysterious phantom lights witnessed on the Eastern seas. That same glow dwells within this short katana. Enemies who look upon its blade are fascinated and get distracted from their target.
(Shiranui is like the Japanese version of a Will-o-the-Wisp)
Hototogisu
This kunai is named after the Hototogisu, a songbird native to Eastern lands with a beautiful call. However, it seems the one who named this blade was thinking of a shirabyoshi with the same name. In any case, the Hotogisu is quite easy to swing and can double as a defensive weapon.
(A Hototogisu is a cuckoo bird)
A shirabyoshi is a Japanese woman who dresses in traditional male clothing and performs artistic dances for entertainment.
Honebami
Using this uchigatana, one can put forth the full strength of their body and smash through their enemy bones with destructive force. Whatever armor or carapace your target may have, this weapon can effectively crush it.
Rasetsu Jinpachi
Wrapping this jinpachi around one head is said to make them like a Rasetsu (an evil demon that eats people). As armor, it covers very little of the head, so it really intensifies the wearer's fighting spirit, truly making them act like a ferocious demon.
War Shinobi Gi
Normally, Ninja prefer lighter clothing that is easy to move in for missions involving stealth and infiltration. However, they like to be prepared for any situation, and this chainmail is a good option on the battlefield, with its superior defensive properties.
