I am getting back into Smithing, its been a few years, (currently lvl 30) Before I go higher, I am curious about Sub Crafts for Smithing. What are they? Should level those before getting into the higher levels of Smithing I think.
Thanks for any input.

Plan your route to 100 with a guide. That will tell you what subs you will or wont need.

For smithing (the reason i have not done a smithing mule) you need basically every subcraft besides cooking at some point or another... goldsmithin was alot more simple or so it seemed is why i picked it..

you can get to 60 without a sub. It cost around 1m or so iirc but i did it over a course of a month or so. From 60 upwards you definitely need subs cloth gold are a must! atm my smithing has been put on the back burner for now.

If you still needed help:
Gold, leather, and woodworking are really important. Clothcraft can help. Bone isn't necessary at all unless you want to make some claws or arrowheads... But what Xurion suggested is best, look through the recipe list and find the most cost-effective items to level on. A guide is simply a guide, doing your own research on top of that will greatly aid you. Subcrafts are always an investment for the future as well. You can't make anything worthwhile in smithing without them. If you have any other questions shoot me a PM.
