I am happily playing Left4Dead and Fallout3 on my X-Box (gamertag: Voodoome, for all you zombie slayers) and staying away from FF11 in every capacity. I started playing on day one and played till late 2007 when i went to Iraq and lost the ability to play. Being without it for that long, i just lost the will to log in.
I logged in the other day for the first time in a long while though, went to dynamis, and saw how far my FF11 skills had truely slipped. In all fairness, dispite the long period of time away and my slip in quality, i had a good time playing again.
Edit: as far as the PS3 goes stubbie ... I would love to play mine if it didn't blow up my network everytime i try to get it online. (and whats with that extra short ass cord on the controller, if I want to play while charging the battery for wireless i have to be sitting like right in front of the TV.)

still here, but every time i play wow, i stop after 1-3 months.
its just something to do every so often.
as for console games online, they are fun, for 1-7 days, but after that, im done with them.
but luckily i have a gazillion RPGs ive bought, and never played past 10mins.
so im good to go for awhile.

I'm on WoW.
I quit wow last July I made a total of 2100 dollars from it. It was fun while it lasted but I moved on with my life. I'm married and moving forward with God. Alot has changed since bashing ffxi in 04. Lol it was fun but after looking at it mad childish even tho WoW did blowout every mmo that came out since. I still have love for ffxi because at the time when I was playing it 24/7 it was mad fun I just hated the fact they didn't have real pvp.I was also one of the only english speaking summoners back in the day and I still remember bring alot of level 70+ people with me to try to get my carbuncle mitts and it was an epic fail(Leroy Jenkins in the flesh). Tomiko I see you btw.

Im here I got this account from my sister in 2004ish o_O when she was a 60 pld or some crap.
I too am a ps3 fanboy.
why ps3 is better then xbox 360: Xbox you paid for but to play online you pay monthly ps3 is free so you end up paying more to microsoft shortly after you purchase it. TADA ps3 wins!
$600.00 on FFXI from 2004
$860.00 on PS3 and 6 games
Not having to upgrade or replace your old computer from 2004 "Priceless."

True x-box live you do have to pay for (gold at least anyways), but its soooo much better then PSN. I like my PS3 and all, but Live just blows PSN away IMO. Worst thing is that for great games like Fallout 3 and GTA4 you can't even get expansion packs on PSN because the developers don't think its worth the effort to release them for PSN ... thats just lame.

They say ignorance is bliss. In this case i think that makes sense luckly i don't own a xbox to know what im missing out on. And fortunatly with the everyone including myself in credit debt ill be paying bills until ps4 comes out or whatever. Maybe technology will get to the point where we don't even need consoles to play our games we just need a plug that goes into our brians.
