Easiest way for tenshodo fame?

I tried getting the Flint stones quest but you need fame for that too...lol can anyone help?

Do the zinc ore quest in bastok, it shouldnt require much fame at all, if any. Plus it is the fastest way to get tenshodo fame out of them all I've heard; only need to do it about 40 times to get high real high tenshodo fame.

4 at a time for nanaa mingo. i sub thf to whm, drop off everything but my maul and go rampage. takes about an hour or so to get a full load and such. repeat a few times and you're well on your way.

Bah, I swear i've done that damn necklace quest like at least 40 or 50 times, plus the zinc in bastok at least 8 or 9 times... not enough still ><. when i did it, i went with 7 items in my inventory, 6 peice of equip cuz i'm level 33 and 30 yagudo persecutors can kill me and my Linkpearl. i bring back 28 necklaces each time (since i got gobby bag 2) and a half stack of silver BC's... i swear i've done the quest at least 40 times cuz i've made like 10 runs and i still don't have enough. my ninja friend who has it told me an easy way to check. go to that store or whatever, i think it's called Neptunes Spire in lower jeuno just before the AH. check the price of rice balls, if they are less than or = to 146 then you have enough tenshodo fame. btw. i do mining and everytime i get a bunch of zinc i send it to my mule in bastok for holding till i get my main char down there to turn in for the "shady business" quest. i've turned in over 36 zincs and have like 24 more waiting for me in bastok for next time i get there. right now rice balls cost me 150 so i'm close. last time i checked before that they were 155 and since then i turned in about 52 necklaces = 13 quests. so if 13 quests = 5 gil off price of rice balls. I'm not making much sense but i hope you got something from this long ass post... i'm delaying studying for my exam tonight :/ later dude, good luck

I believe your rice ball number is too low, but i'm not positive. i'm pretty sure mine is 150 something, and i have leviathan quest open. i'll try to check next time i'm at jeuno tenshodo though. but yes, it is a very accurate gauge, if i can ever remember the exact number. ><

If your talking about the fame fro the utsusemi then its 153 for the rice balls then you have enough.

fame so i can get utsusemi for my nin heh.. and get enough fame there for avatar too.

in Giddeus, too. At least to me, they seem far more generous with zincs than the other worm

mobs. I'm thinking of farming giddeus fulltime... great place if you bring craft crystals

for desynth/synthing.

so funny tho with the rice ball cost. i wonder if that's really the most accurate way to

test your fame? so many people have mentioned that "you're wrong u cant get it when it

costs this much, etc etc". i got the rice balls to 155 gil, went straight to norg and was

able to get utsusemi, tonko and the leviathan quests as well as the other minor debuff

spells from misc. npc's. if you can get to norg, there's two guys on top of this shop area

in the back. forget the names hehe but they give u a quest for rusty gear. i actually found

that after doing these the rice balls dropped about 2 gil. dont know if you can get them

before utsusemi, i did them afterwards but if u can it might be worth doing those to gain

some more fame. do the samurai job quest as well, that should definitely raise some fame.

farming yagudo necklaces can take awhile too. if you have a blm with warp and can stand not

having thief as a sub, it would save time running to windurst to trade the necklaces (

assuming ur level is high enough to sub it for warp). it takes awhile to run there and back.

for trips i suggest using a chocobo to get there, and either warp or (if u have a good

amount of CP to waste) a warp scroll to get back. that's what i did on my trips and saved

me hours. also, the necklaces are sold in the windurst AH on my server a lot, price range

about 200-300 gil each. if u buy them it isnt so damaging to your pocketbook since you get a

good amount of gil for trading them back to her. it wouldnt hurt to do the zinc ore quest a

few times as well. anyway, just try it and let us know how it all works out ^^

You need

some fame for Tonko, but I don't think you need as much as Utsu. I remember someone saying

they had enough fame for tonko but not utsusemi yet.

so I keep hearing about this "300 zinc ores" quest, so i asked where

(the warehouse in bastok)went there, gave huim 1 and talked to someoen else then it was

over..lame. Is there a 300 zincs quest im missing somewhere?

repeatable. Just turn in 4 zincs at the warehouse over and over...then go get leviathan.
