Not sure what everyone is talking about atm as I got to lazy to finishing reading it all.

Just wanted to say thank you for the guide, I found it informative & a bit humorous. I actually loved that "Crossbows. Use them." & "Things. Evade them." lines since a lot of the times that I tell my friend that he's full of shit he always responds, "I do my best to fill things." So I put the tone he uses with those lines & it makes it a great laugh. At least for me >_>

Oh, ding.

Haven't read everyone elses posts but as this hasn't been updated yet: Trick Attack for thieves pre-60 adds AGI to weapon base damage. It's the same as post 60 except it doesn't auto-crit meaning it can miss too.

I find this guide useful linkswise, I'm hoping it does get updated some with gear lists for WS/Solo/TPing (I know they are around on the forum, but a consolodated guide would be nice).

Also planning on trying out Ambush, I don't need epeen damage, and I hardly ever solo (usually at least duo-trio), so curious how effective it is. Although I can think of a few situations where a mob self-buffing Haste or Ice Spikes etc has completely destroyed me cause of it.

Look at the 1-75 thief equipment guide? >.> Either that or the endgame equipment guide. They've both got everything you need in terms of equipment woes.

No, the 1-75 equipment guide looks a bit old with its suggestions, so I was hoping to find something more recent that I could compare to to confirm my choices, or if there were any particular updates I wasnt aware of (such as Ermine's Tail for a solo gear item). Stuff like that isnt listed on the guide, and I already have most of the suggested gear anyways.

Same goes for the endgame equipment guide, which by the way doesnt suggest WS/solo gear, only TP gear, which I already have anyways.

Also guides on potential subjobs (I have them all leveled cept for new releases from wotg) would be interesting as well, it's hard to find things that are up to date.

The guide is old because I wrote it a long time ago. It's still up to date though and it's the best thing you'll find for leveling THF. It includes weaponskill pieces too. If there's a bit of gear (non aug) that isn't listed in the guide it's almost certainly because there's something better and cheaper or easier to aquire.

That'd be great if I wasnt 75 years upon years ago, and didn't already have most of the gear on the list. And again, it doesn't fill in all the holes in my knowledge, like evasion gear, or yes, augmented gear, or hell, even cuchulain's gear isnt even on there, so no, it doesnt answer my questions.

I'll try to make a gear guide a priority.

I don't think I'll tackle leveling gear because Bugg's guide probably has that covered, but I might someday if and when I find the time and motivation.

I went through all of the new additions to gear last night and found very few things to update the leveling Gear with.

Danath, from your posts I couldn't tell if you were 75 or mid leveling. I'll add some endgame equipment choices for SA TA WS TP Racc and Eva builds and combinations thereof. Not today as i'm busy but within a week ^^b

Also; we don't know about Augmented items enough yet. They've not been out long enough for us to get to grips with them and as such a lot of endgame gear is now going to be subjective in its use. Augmented gear is random and should be used by yourself should you get a piece to test. When we've a better understanding of how augments work i'll slip them into the guide too. Until then they're staying well away ^^ This satisfactory Danath?

Just saying what I would like to see, don't go out of your way on my account! Thanks if so, but no worries.

I haven't seen a guide so well done by a complete asshole from Asura since I tried to do mine for Bard. This is good stuff, I lol'd at all the trolling over some of the most trivial issues, but I know where I currently am, and what y'all currently do.
