I've got a question.. why do i cure the same anmout of HP ( with the same TP) with this Macro:


input /equip head "Drachen armet";
input /ma Barstone <me>
wait 3;
input /equip head "Saurian helm";
input /equip body "Wyvern mail";
input /equip neck "Chanoix's gorget";
input /equip feet "Homam Gambieras";
input /equip legs "Drachen brais";

inasmuch as with:

input /equip head "Drachen armet";
input /ma Barstone <me>
wait 3;
input /equip head "Saurian helm";


doesnt wyvern MAX hp affect HB? or do i equip it at the wrong time

I think (not sure) that 3 seconds is too much.

Wyvern HP changes aren't reflected instantly so you need to macro the HP+ pieces sooner. I macro mine in at the same time as Drachen Armet +1, immediately before casting the trigger spell.

hmmm tried it like you said xanthe... well it works. but not always my wyvern doesnt register the HP change fast enough ><
i even put a wait 0.2 before the barspell.. but it still doesnt work always

it's not always going to work if you want to macro it i've found
either full time it and get it 100%, macro it around and get it most of the time, or don't bother

Put the Wyvern HP+ items before the wait. Also, some people can't get the Brais to macro correctly for them for some reason. It seems that the Wyvern HP+% takes longer to register and sometimes the server isn't fast enough; it's an issue that varies from person to person. It typically works for me, but every now and then, in a high lag situation, it doesn't.

I actually dedicate 4 separate macros to HB
Alt7-Contains Drachen armet and Whp gear.
Alt 8 and 9-Trigger Barspells, with 9 tailored to the mob I am facing.
Alt 0-Wyrm armet

Ive found it allows plenty of time for the whp to proc, it helps with enemy attack timing for interrupts, and wyrm armet can be swapped in faster manually than with /wait

As simple as that and it never failed on me even in heavy lag. Except maybe for Homam Feet, i dont see the need of additionnal Whp gear just for an extra 10-20 hp on HB.

If you're going to use Homam Gambieras there's no reason not to use Chanoix's Gorget and Wyvern Mail. Having a 431 base healing breath, 600 with Empathy/Body Boost is awesome.

i find it useful to macro in bq ring so you can trigger earlier. but yea wait 3 is to much like other said. and if you can afford a gigant mantle for macro that would be alot earlier of a HB

I wear homam fulltime already (except for WS).

I'll give a shot adding those 2 in the set. To be honest, i totaly forgot about wyvern mail, it's collecting dust in Storage for over a year and for some reason i thought chanoix was only 10 Whp.... /facepalm.

I thought the earring only improved the offensive breaths not healing?

It takes a random time from 2 to 10 seconds to register the Wyvern HP +, making swaps macro occasional.
This is a bug that I hope they solve in each update, but nothing.

For example you can't do something like:

Euip full HP
Foot Kick
wait
Equip Wyvern HP
wait
Equip DD

this will only work a few times.

Too bad.
