As 62blm/nin found two camps in Bibiki bay fighting the beastmasters, but their movement has been really debilitating in keeping chains. They seem to always end facing the pet.
Does anyone know of any tips or tricks to pulling the pets? I tried running out into the large area, but it ended badly and it seems with all the other roaming goblins the passageway might be the only place to pull them to. Does anyone know if you can pull it if the pet is slightly in front of the beastmaster or does it always need to be behind it? A couple pulls they were at the same distance and it didn't agro the master.
I heard the camp had "insane xp" but I've been pretty unimpressed with it so far because of the pathing of the masters. Also unsure what amount insane would be, but when you guys were soloing/duoing in 60+ what were your average xp/hour?
The guide had the camp and basic info, but haven't been able to figure out how to exploit the camp. Anywho if this was already covered I'ld appreciate the link, but it seemed most information was just about possible camps, which doesn't help when I am at the camp and just confused on pulling tactics.

I duoed in this camp 58~61
From my experience there is no other way to pull the pet safely, you have you wait for the gob to stand still and pet has to be behind master.
I did not get insame xp, it was about the same as exp party at that level. Got up to chain 5 duo with a bard, close to 300 exp, it was the best chain we got cuz the repop time doesnt allow chain 6.

i am currently at this camp and i gotta say its great, pulls are a bit tricky but exp is worth it, i can get up to chain 4 - 520exp w/o band. and around 600+ with it. once u learn the gobs movements u can learn when to pull but its worth it.

I never actually did this area as blm, or solo for that matter. I actually did it duo as whm+blm (me being the whm). I WAS the puller though, so I can say that pulling was not too bad. The main issue with that is that I was duo. With duo i could basically just pull and get raped while my partner cast AM (which wouldn't work solo).
Mainly the only reason I feel I have anything useful to add is to mention, you can pull the pet as soon as the gob calls it as long as the gob isn't facing the path the pet will take. Meaning, the pet doesn't have to be fully behind the master, it can be inside of him and still be considered out of the master's view.

I found F-7 "north" offered a little more flexbility for pulling than F-7 "south" (ie. the cactus area). The large rock the bst goblin moves around lets you maneuver to either side of him, and unless he's actually facing his pet directly, you should be able to manage a safe pull. You can then run to the little chasm that heads towards the south camp, or just run down the hill where the dhamels are (there's no gobs or rarabs down there).
One note for the "north" camp - the goblin's bunny has a tendency to have trouble taking the narrow path between the rock and the cliff edge, and will frequently detour the long way around the rock to get to you if you're pulling from that side. It's a good idea to wait a second or two to let the bunny get close before running, that way he's sure to take the narrow path instead of detouring right in front of his master.
It can result in a slightly more dangerous pull, but I'd rather cope with one rabid bunny than a bunny and his master.
If you've never pulled in exp before, it might be worth your while trying a pulling job sometime where you can link by sight, it gives you a good sense of how well the gobbie can see.
I've been on both camps since 59; the exp can be great, as high as 632 on chain 3, but it is inconsistent. I found after I hit 63, my efficiency with mp went up (Fire III > sleep 2 > Stonega 3 instead of Freeze), so I could spend a little more time out with the gob, invisible, waiting for that pull.

here is a tip on pulling faster. when the gob is recasting it's pet you will have a gap of time to be able to pull the
pet and not have to worry about it linking. reason for this is cuz after casting it's pet, the pet is right on top of the
gob... its not in front or behind. this allows you to just pull it and not have to worry about the gob moving first and
having the pet totally behind. i hope this helps, it helped me get chain 4s and sometimes 5s. also i would suggest
only duoing till 60 or 61. duo exp gets dull after that. solo is great 60-64, and its ok at 65.
