ok, my war just hit 75 last night and i got to looking over my gear. the places i feel i need the most improvement is in the hands/feet area. should hopefully be getting Heca for both before too long, so until then i'm using Warrior's Mufflers and Rutter Sabatons for my WS pieces. are those fine or is there something else i should get to hold me over till i get Heca?

the lvl 27 ones? really, DEF: 6 HP +12 MP +4 STR +3 DEX +3 VIT -1 AGI -1 would be better than DEF: 22 HP +20 VIT +5 Attack +12 Enmity +2 ?

Marine M/F Feet (Hume only) are a good option if you don't have Heca but I think Rutter are probably better. Warrior's Mufflers are fine until you get Hecatomb or as someone else said, Alky Bracelets.

Fighter's Mufflers +1 are hokay too, and they're fairly easy to get because no one wants WAR AF+1 items. If you're a taru, Creek M Mitts have the same STR+ though.

I have a question about aurum and dusk feet +1. personally I don't like loosing haste on my tp build but many people seem to use the aurum I'm wondering which are better int he long run

aurum are free, that is probably why they are getting so much love

thats basically it. some ppl need the acc aurum also so thats plays a minor role. being free is the biggest though

They're better because in most situations outside of meriting on birds you won't be capped on ACC. So when it comes down to what will help you more 6.5 Acc > 1% Haste, on top of that they're free.

There's plenty of options to choose from if you can get the help. I prolly won't see 1/4 of these things in my slots because of the difficulty.

***Aurum Gauntlets - Meh, these are trash. As a WAR these are useless.
**Warrior's Mufflers - Great for melee and so-so for WS.
****Adaman Mufflers - ACC+4 and ATT+10, they're what the Aurum Gauntlets failed at.
**Hecatomb Mittens - You already know.
*****Ares Gauntlets - Amazing as an ACC+10 piece and STR/VIT+4 piece for WS.
**Askar Manoples - DEX buildable, and the 3rd most Haste a WAR can get in the hand-slot.
*Dusk Gloves - Only if you've got a Haste build and got Suppa.

On your legs.
*Thick Breeches - Hey, back in the day, these were bread and butter WAR/DRK material.
*Barone Cosciales - No shame in wearing these. Good for TP.
***Warrior's Cuisses - STR+5 and the mysterious "Double Attack +1" nice for SATA WS.
***Aurum Cuisses - STR/VIT+4 and ACC+7, amazing for SC or multi-hit WS.
****Hachiryu Haidate - STR+10 ATT+5, hands down the best piece for any WAR WS.
***TIE Byakko's Haidate - Drowning in DEX and Haste is the way to go.
*****TIE Ares's Flanchard - 2% DA with half what BH offers in DEX and more STR than AF2 Legs. Hot as hell.

there's enough DA%+ to use Ares' legs over Haidate, esp. if you have full Ares' set. i dunno what the numbers look like on paper, but 10% from wearing full set in addition to other DA+ slots, seems pretty sexy to me.

but alone, it's still sex.

i was mentioning how good they are by themselves, not really saying one beats the other hands down. one of them is the best TP piece, the other is close the best WS piece a WAR can get on multi-hit.
