Hey guys, just a question about six-hit builds on war.

Does a 6-hit setup (ecphoria ring, chiv chain, rajas) outweigh a ulthalam's, rajas, pcc setup?

Are there other 6 hit setups that are possible on war?

This is with Perdu of course.

Edit: this is assuming I have no GA merits :x I think it'll outweigh ult/raja/pcc..but just looking for some input as well as other setups.

Using Rajas, Ecphoria, PCC and Brutal earring will just barely get you a 6-hit build. Chivalrous chain is never an upgrade over PCC, especially not without any GAX merits, unless you're fighting monsters with really low evasion so you'll manage 95% even without the additional +5 accuracy. But on anything that matters, PCC/Ancient torque ftw.

Anyway, if you were to get Askar korazin or Aurum cuirass (the latter being far better), you could also easily achieve a 6-hit build, though sacrificing Accuracy just to attain one isn't always feasible. In fact, I would recommend never to use an Askar korazin, just stick to a Hauby (+1) or Adaberk. >_>

Ah! I forgot about my Brutal Earring....my war is 10k to 73 so wasn't thinking about it. Thank you for reminding me of it.

Um, but at 73 would it would it outweigh the pcc setup?

I ask because I'm in a lot of 70-72 sync pts for now >.>

Also, I'm eating Marinara Pizza +1 for 10% acc and some attack.

Yeah, it outweighs it by a lot. Also, Rajas + Brutal is a 6-hit on WAR/SAM, just not from 0 TP or if you miss two hits of RR/KJ (I think, it has been a while now.) If you're at birds you could consider using Ecphoria, or you could just assume you'll likely get hit once if they're already attacking you to steal your TP. If you don't have Brutal, I recommend getting one!

I'm in mire rite now in a 70 sync pt with marinara pizza...so I seem to be hitting ok.

rest of my gear is

gawain/pole/empty/fire bomblet
o.hat/chiv chain/assault earring/fowling --------------> can swap for pcc
hauberk/fourth guantlets/raja/ecphoria ---------------> gauntlets instead of dusk for now due to level sync.
amemet+1/swift/barone/fighter's ---------------------> working on aurum

Yeah, I would not use Askar on War very often, if ever at all. The body piece is just too much of an acc dive to take :/

This. I think the only stipulation is that you HAVE to land the first hit and one other(might just be the first hit though). I just stick with Rajas/Brutal and also usually get hit once after a feather tickle or meditate.

Right, I forgot about the bonus TP after a RR... in that case, you might want to drop the Ecphoria for a Snipers (+1)/Toreadors/Ulthalam's.
