A Reason for Trueflight

I found this out a long time ago, I'm sure some already know, but just in case..

Definitely take the time to get Trueflight WS.

People say the WS damage is meh ~500, and on most mobs they are right.

However, you'd be suprised some of the damage you can do on mobs that are strong to physical attack and weak to magic.

I mainly use it in Nyzul Isle, but when you get floors that have mostly slimes, or even better, puddings, you might be able to break 1k. Oh ya, and if you close light (my pref. is kasha>TF) You'll almost certainly break 1k light on any of those (except enemy leader)

Especially for all you who do Nyzul Isle, heavily recommend it, the versatility it brings when you have a dd heavy group and not much magic, when you come to those floors it might save your run.

Damage is absolutely better than any physical WS against dark elemental.

it's good against flan, decent vs slimes, decent vs dark elementals. most dark elementals will take more dmg from slug though, despite their phys dmg resistance. it's not really worth using in limbus. it's great if you're in a small group and want to make a light SC with a pld though. trueflight > atonement = light, and a lot of hate for the PLD since neither WS can technically miss.

Has anyone tested it versus Cerberus when it's low hp %? Magic damage taken goes up considerably, and physical damage goes down in the same respect. I could imagine it being quite potent (compared to the regular ws damage). Atonement has already proven itself to be devastating on it sad.gif

If memory serves, the physical% reduction on Elementals in Temenos East is significantly smaller than that of most elementals.

I like spamming it on THF and PLD mobs in dynamis when they 2 hr

...yeah the damage sucks in this situation but some dmg > no dmg

But yeah, definitely my WS of choice on flans/slimes in nyzul

TF on thf mobs in dynamis is kinda pointless, no offense. you can land slug on a mob that's got PD active.

PD only useful against melee attack anyway.

True you CAN land slug on PD THF...but you can also miss that slug too (which I often do on THF mobs anyway)

Ranged attacks and perfect dodge have no known correlation between one another.

If you're whiffing you need to set up a SShot macro that stresses ranged accuracy for THF's, or alter your gear set-up overall.

Trueflight also goes through shadows I'm told, making it useful in Ballista.

Like Zareth said. PD doesn't add any additional Evasion to the mob. It just makes it they automatically suceed against melee attacks.

If you missing Misswinder during PD you will also be missing Misswinder out of PD.

I think the miss you observe are just form the target being a THF mob... I hate Thf Mobs, especially Mamools with Warm-up XD
