I am currently learning Japanese and am doing pretty well for the amount of time I have been doing this. So far I have learned Hiragana, and am nearly complete with Katakana. I have learned some of the basics of conjugating basic Present/Future tense verbs in the formal masu from. And a little about conjugating in the informal form.

As of now I have the Japanese version of FFXI installed so I can type Japanese via my IME Hiragana keyboard. Is there anyone, and I mean anyone at all that knows Japanese well enough to help me out? Hold conversations with me and kinda guide me a bit? If so that would be fantastic. Also, could someone point me in the correct direction if they know a Bilingual person?

only if you join Ifrit.. JK.. good luck. good to try and get rosetta stone. for japanese.. but what I tried with that software seems to be basic. yasui(Easy). You will learn stupid stuff like.. Dog,cat,bird,plane,Male,Female, Etc. get jwpce its free its a dictionary and also a nice way to look up kanji.. other things get some books.. I'm planing on getting an electronic dictionary. Canon G55 which is a little pricey its 235ish.. but it has more than one source of dictionary on it.. u can jump from meaning of any word.. looking up kanji too. I got a "The Learner's Kanji Dictionary" Its nice to start learning kanji. but I took Japanese in College which is another great place to learn if ur school offers it. The thing about kanji is there are 2 basic forms.. ichidan and godan. basically Chinese sound, and Japanese Sound. and these have special ways of usage.. like iku is dictionary form for "To Go" Ikimasu (is going) ikimasen..(not going) ikereba i think thats right.. which means.. "If I go" as you can see. this is a verb.. they have diffrent ways you form them. adding masen basically means (not). adding mashita (past tense.."ikimashita" I went) I hope my Japanese isnt wrong here. but verbs are.. iru, eru and etc. and Adjectives mostly end in i. atsui (hot) samui (cold) oishi (Yummy), no for say.. akai (Red) Aoi (Blue) Kiiroi (Yellow) Midori (Green). Chairo (Brown). Shiroi (White) *like my name.. Shiroryuu (should be hakkyuryuu meaning White Dragon) Kuroi (Black) Japanese Colors I could go on and try and explain more. but I fear my Japanese is heta (or poor)..
