Yeah, I misunderstood the details of the snapshot augment. I assumed that the augment was 5 snapshot points (in a similar sense to 5 snapshot merits) which would give 10% reduced delay, I didn't realize it was just 5% snapshot. It is still very good, but thanks for pointing that out.
As for gear swapping to compensate for the 10Racc you lose if you choose 10Ratt... There really aren't any options when taking on mobs w/ the highest eva.
Here is what my gear looks like:
Htr. Beret +1 for TP/WS and Optical Hat for Barrage
Kirin's Osode
Seiryu's Kote for TP/WS/barrage... Htr. Bracers +1 for barrage on easier stuff
Scout's Braccae for TP/WS and Dusk Trousers for barrage
Strider Boots for TP, Rutter Sabatons for barrage and WS
Peacock Charm
Bushinomimi
Genin Earring
Rajas Ring for TP/WS and Behemoth Ring for barrage
Behemoth Ring
Amemet Mantle +1
Buccaneer's Belt
Hawker's Knife
Francisca
Selene's Bow
I have full archery merits and close to ideal gear. Even when I use full racc gear (optical hat, behemoth ring x2, dusk pants), I still manage to miss on Odin every now and then. I am not sure about the exact accuracy%, but it probably hovers around 80-85%. One of the reasons racc gear is essential for Odin is b/c you have to shoot him from far away to avoid AoEs. SE made it a point when they nerfed RNG that if a RNG was not the ideal distance away from a mob racc and ratt would not be at the maximum potential.
I could add another Hawker's Knife or a Trailer's Kukri to the mix if I really wanted to, and I probably should for the next Odin. It might be a good idea to parse this stuff to figure out the actual accuracy rates. The point I am trying to make is that even maxed out racc gear will not guarantee you a near perfect accuracy% on the most evasive mobs. Thus, if you are a RNG who wants to use attack food rather than sushi at endgame, it might be advisable to get this body. Yes, you could get the ratt augment so that you can achieve your potential in tp burn, but RNG is not a tp burn job anyways, unless you don't have a job that is a tp burn job (Sam, War, Mnk, etc). 10ratt is inferior to 10racc when you are fighting the toughest and most evasive mobs.

Pop a sushi and ws every 100tp with a 5-6 hits build as rng/sam?

I Tp in striders just b/c i like the movement speed, the same reason I don't tp in dusk. I have the items for a third af+1, I might get the boots to TP and WS in but I'm not sure, I would rather put my money into Sam or War atm. Dynamis is too boring for me, no way I will ever get the dyna boots. Maybe I might get hachiyru sune-ate to drop if I ever decide to farm some zeni.

If the above is true for you, then meat isn't the appropiate choice of food, for that specific mob.

If you are eating meat, and you have accuracy problems, the R.acc+10 augment is not gonna make much improvement.
If you have accuracy problems, simply eat sushi, and keep the R.attk+10 augment, and load up on more STR/R.attk until you are comfortably hitting the mob with consistency.
Meat is not the end-all be-all food, even though it is used on 90% of endgame.
For both cases of course, I'm assuming you have the snapshot +5%. I think most RNG's would agree that that augment is a must.
I guess it all boils down to what ppl prefer in their gear. The only reason I'd personally chose the r.acc+10 augment where to use it as a new barrage body. But the difference that would exist between that and AF body (or pln.) is quite minimal really. If anything, the best barrage body is skadi.

If 10 Racc is negligible than you can make the case that 10 Ratt is negligible.
As for using sushi or attack food on Odin...
I've noticed during Odin fights that when Selene's Bow is at its peak racc I land a lot more arrows than when it is at its peak ratt. In this case, 20 racc, due to a full moon, is certainly not negligible. Furthermore, let's look at sushi itself. I think the racc cap on sushi is around 33. Is there a setup of gear that can add 33 racc to my RNG? Let's look (and assume 2 agi = 1 Racc).
Sub Hawker's Knife and Francisca with x2 Trailer's Kukri -> Racc +9 (420k-20k=400k)
Sub Kirin's Osode with the new body (RACC and Snapshot augments) -> Racc +7.5 (Free)
Sub Bushinomimi with Drone Earring -> Racc +1.5 (20k)
Sub Scout's Braccae with Dusk Trousers -> Racc +3 (500k)
Sub x2 Behemoth Rings with x2 Behemoth Rings +1 -> Racc +2 (520k-40k=480k)
Sub Strider Boots with Skadi's Jambeaux or Hachiryu Sune-ate -> Racc +5 (210k or 4000k respectively)
Sub Buccaneer's Belt with Scout's Belt -> Racc +2.5
(I usually don't use dusk trousers on RNG, (they are for SAM/RNG), and I didn't use them on the last odin; I have just started to implement dusk trousers into my RNG macros)
This all culminates in an additional 30.5 racc, which is comparable to the effects of sushi. It would cost rangers on my server roughly 1.61 million gil to procure this gear. Of this 30.5 racc bonus, 7.5 racc is from rare/ex gear that is tough to get (boots and belt).
Many rangers use Selene's Bow. If there is a full moon this bow offers an additional 20 Racc, in comparison to when this bow is used when there is no moon. When fighting Odin on a full moon you would not want to use all of this racc gear. Lets look at what is swappable for other kinds of gear...
x2 Trailer's Kukri for Kriegsbeil and Francisca -> Ratt +15, Racc -17
Drone Earring for Bushinomimi/Triumph Earring -> Str +2, Racc -1.5
Dusk Trousers for Scout's Braccae -> Enmity -2, Racc -3
Dusk Trousers for Skadi's Chausses -> Ratt +5, Store TP +7, Racc -6
Behemoth Ring +1 for Rajas Ring -> Str +5, Store Tp+5, Racc - 12
Behemoth Ring +1 for Jalzahn's Ring -> Ratt +6, Racc - 6
Optical Hat for Htr. Beret +1 -> Ratt +5, Enhanced Rapid Shot, Racc - 8 (assuming you don't have the quadav hat...)
Peacock Charm for Hope Torque -> Ratt + 6, Racc -1.5
Seiryu's Kote for Crimson Gloves -> Ratt + 10, Racc -7.5
RNG has lots of options in gear swapping. If you are going to fight easier mobs the there is a plethora of gear that can be swapped in for other peripheral gear if you need to compensate for the extra racc +10 of your body piece.
If you are going to fight a mob like Odin, you will need an accuracy build to land attacks. Sushi offers roughly 33 racc. In comparison, foods like courel subs boost ratt by 75. With x2 minuet a RNG will definitely reach this cap. Wearing a piece of gear that gives 10 ratt will only account for 1/7.5 of the effect of attack food.
The effect of sushi is very noticeable, yet this effect caps at 33 racc. Wearing a piece of gear that gives 10 racc can account for 10/33 of the effect of sushi. Wearing a piece of gear that gives 10 ratt will only account for 1/7.5 of the effect of courel subs. You can make the claim that racc +10 has double the impact of ratt +10.
I am not sure if a RNG/NIN in an accuracy build can climb higher than the 375 Ratt cap of courel subs, but it is certainly possible that a RNG/WAR can. Factor berserk into the equation and a rng might be able to achieve greater than 100 ratt from red curry. In this case, gear offering ratt +10 would only account for 1/10 the effect of food.

This is my gimpy rng/sam.
http://ffxigear.com/?ref=2280
http://ffxigear.com/?ref=2281
If you use sole sushi that will add up to 464 racc in gears with 404 ratt. The 2nd link is my ws gear and I'll have 462racc (not counting the racc/acc bonus with light gorget) and 380ratt with +48str/28agi with sole sushi on me. So I don't see why you're trying to say that sushi only add 33racc ish.
Also the links doesn't count my ratt on mirke or my archery merits so these stats are the bare minimum for a rng. I can see a well merited rng/sam with this set up can easily reach 480racc in tp gears and around 490racc in ws gears with sushi.

I just wanted to say...
first I changed my original augments to what I knew I would eventually go with which is rng acc+10 and snapshot+5. Now the reason why i went rng acc vs rng attk.
I had to ask myself when I'm in an event what support does my ranger get?
Its not range accuracy. I don't really need range accuracy with 8/8 merits on both skills and torques.
But i would be shitting myself not to up my accuracy if im upping my overall arrow/bullet/bolt output.
And the rng attack+10 is not going to give me more than 5 dmg on my regular range attacks, im in that tier. and yes it would be nice but i am not WS'n with my MBody cause KO does it better. so i went rng acc+10 snapshot +5. I say do whatever you personally feel is what you need. Yes you can use sushi to increase your acc.. but i like /war and if I need to use sushi i would just /nin... lets just say i do not need either acc/attk but the acc makes me feel a bit more secure.
shoot when i really think about it... probably should of just done.. StP/SB+4, Snapshot+5 since i been tping in osode for 4yrs now anyways...

I'm 100% sure it's 5% aiming delay reduction. I've tested it and use the ranged delay formula. It perfectly fits if we treat it as Snapshot +5%. You can test by fraps on your own if you don't believe me.

I don't know why people are so afraid eating sushi. If you already load all your racc gear and still have 85%, then you better pop sushi and switch more racc to ratk. Unless you're speaking eating red curry for any events regardless. 75 ratk and 5 STR can be compensated a bit once you eat sushi.
Really, if your TPing at 85% with maxed racc gear, Slugwinder is gonna be unreliable, because you want to load 30-40 more acc in that in order to get about the same hit rate as your TPing phase.

RAcc is cheap and easy to come by
RAtt is harder
So I went with Snap Shot + RAttack
was a bit torn about RAttack vs -Enmity though.

BRDs and CORs are cheap to come by, so I went with RAcc and Snapshot.
I won't have merits (or at least never more than 4, and I'm not sold yet on dropping Evasion merits), and I won't be using RNG much in situations where 5 hit is critical, so I figured I'd make the best TP body I could given that I will rarely have trouble with enough RAtt thanks to proper support.

i still believe snapshot and enmity- is best for those times you'll be fighting stuff like odin or DI. i've done JoL a few times as rng and while it's pretty evasive, you can hit reliably w/ meat and a good racc+ build.
anyone considering racc and ratk on this piece i assume isn't heavily merited or has access to a lot of ra/ex rng gear.

I think I rather trade an earing slot for -7 emn then something on this body rather be acc/ attk, snap, w/e
i still want to lean to r acc/ snap because I like to to the staff/ grip thing while pushing to trade acc for str ring. i useally use rajas full time.
