hello, i just got to 70s recently using a colossal's axe. Should i keep using this axe till i get acess to one of those end game axes? The two axes in the title caught my eye when i was looking for a cheap upgrade (if it is ). Which one should i get if i am going to do steel cyclone mainly? My gear is not great and i cant afford those expensive +acc gear so i thought i would be better off with sc :x

Fourth Toporok is the superior (and cheaper) option until you get Byakko's or Perdu.

Also some very cheap upgrades you might want to consider:

Thick Mufflers/Sollerets
Ecphoria Ring
Life Belt for TPing
Pole Grip
Celata for TP until O.hat/Turban and for WS until Adaman Celata (or ofc N.Head and other options)
Barone Cosciales

More expensive but worthwhile:
Chiv. Chain
Bomb Core
Walahra Turban for TPing

You're better off with Forth Division Toporok. You won't be getting a 6-hit, so you might as well go for better DoT.

As far as getting money for your gear goes:
If there is a KSNM30 service on your server, you might want to use some of the Kindred Seals that you've gotten with them. Generally they request some share of your loot (25% or any pool over 150k is pretty standard on my server), but they turn your Kindred Seals into cash quickly. Use that money to make these upgrades in this order:
1) Bomb Core
2) Celata (I guess!)
3) Pole Grip
4) Life Belt
5) Woodsman Ring x2 (you can sell your STR and Venerer's ring if you want)
6) Chivalrous Chain
7) Thick Sollerets
8) If you aren't using food, eat Meat Mithkabobs
Apart from the weapon, those 8 upgrades will make you a decent NQ WAR.

A few housekeeping things:
- Start upgrading your Mog Safe as soon as possible. Because you can resell the beds, this is a very cheap way to get storage.
- Make sure you cap your evasion and weapon skill in your parties at 75.
- Get all the old Outposts, Whitegate portals, do the Whitegate warp quest, and do the Olduum Ring quest as soon as you can. The faster you can travel, the more efficient you are and the faster you make money.
- Use any remaining gil to upgrade your gobbiebag, and quest the items for the last two upgrades if you get that far.
- Always get Signet, Sigil, or Sanction.
- Don't pay people for something they'd do for free! You shouldn't be paying for help with anything.
- Start doing Assaults when you can. Level 1 Assaults are hard to grind through.
- Look specifics up for yourself.

Then solo Dancer to 37 and skilling up your weapons/doing weapon quests solo with your NPC as WAR/DNC on things that drop sellable items and give experience points when possible. I recommend skilling up in Buburimu Penninsula on Crawlers, then going to Crawler's Nest on Killer Mushrooms until they slow down, then you can probably make the jump to Kuftal Tunnel solo. Fight crabs near the south entrance until you get comfortable with it, and take care not to red-HP agro the ghosts. From there you can go to the lower level of The Boyahda Tree and fight the Robber Crabs there too. If you're going to try a Mandragora, I recommend you start with a lot of TP your first time to make sure you can handle it and watch out, they sound link.

thanks for the tips guys, just got the axe and pole grip. I have been farming those eyes for ohat, 5/6 now. Do i need both ohat and walahra turban? Once i got the ohat i think i will start level the dnc. Hopefully i will get more gil by then for more stuff

Ohat for WS liek rampage (idk how great for GA, but better than turban) and then use turban for TPing, unless ur acc sux too bad to hit.

also use turban for utsu recast.

gear is situational, and ull want w/e u can get.
