I went to talk to ol' Vingijard or whatever his name is to reset my MNK AF quests and he just won't give me the option to do it. He'll let me request PLD, DRK and NIN, but not MNK. I have some unfinished BRD AF quests still activie. Is that what's causing this problem?

I do not, and have not had, the Beat Cesti since I finished the quest years ago. I threw them away almost immediately.
I have Temple Hose +1. (I don't know if this is causing the problem?)

I have all of the MNK AF quests complete. (I've double and triple checked for accuracy.)

Any input? I have no idea what to do about this. And I don't particularly want to finish BRD AF unless it's causing the problem.

Do you have MNK hands or feet? You'll have to toss those first.

This is not true.

Example

Weapon needs to be tossed to get the Armor quests started, but if you only need the feet you dont need to toss the hands. If you need the Hands and not the feet, you then need to toss the Feet and re quest them since that quest unlocks the Hands quest. But you dont need to toss everything depending on what you need to re quest.

Unless they changed it from when I did this on PLD years ago, I only had to toss the weapon, and at that it was after I had my memory erased.

As for the OP Since its letting u re set the other jobs and not MNK, something tells me that something is missing somwhere along the line. The BRD AF should not effect that since you have the option to do other jobs. Perhaps you are missing a coffer item by chance?

Like I said, I've checked and rechecked. Every AF quest for MNK is done. Nothing is missing. I'm still unable to reset.

Did you do all the coffers to by any chance?

if anything is left unfinished, the npc won't reset the af quests, so you must've forgotten at least 1 af (whether coffer or otherwise)

dropping an af is only a scenario when you cannot get the current af quest accessed (af2 quest, drop boots before allow cs to continue), otherwise can hold onto the rest

I threw away the Temple Gaiters a long time ago... I honestly have no idea why. I went ahead and tossed everything but my Temple Hose +1. Still won't let me reset! Arrrgh!
