I'd rather have the additional damage you lose from them moving the mob transferred onto the offending character.

Reduce Mug Recast.
Make Triple Attack a base 10% activation rate (like Double Attack) and move it to lvl 40.
An answer to the exact method of how/why/when/when not/if Treasure Hunter works.
That would suffice for me.

Asking for TA to have the same activation rate as DA lacks (Severely) a fundamental understanding of how both traits work.
Either that or you're totally oblivious to the concept of balance.
Mug is worthless. If you're going to throw away an update to thf on it you should be shot.

With the following updates been announced and Thief probably hasn't even been looked at yet we've still got time to think of things we would want to change/add to Thief. Like I wish Flee would last longer or the cool down time wasn't so high.. Post your ideas biatchs.
"I wish..."
"I want..."
"They should..."
Enough with the hypothetical shit that's not happening. Waste of thread. Oh and for the OP, you're yet another moron who still doesn't comprehend that the plural of thief is thieves. Beautiful people are always stupid, unless you're me.

I'd quite like a pop-up box to be added when you select THF as your main job that asks a series of random questions to determine how much of an idiot you are. If you fail, you can't play THF. The questions can be related to the job, stuff about how useful HS is, why you shouldn't wear AF pants, how to SATA correctly, etc, etc.
As for stances, please shut the fuck up. It annoys the shit out of me that SE decides to add a new set of stances to a job and all of a sudden it's what everyone wants. I've waded through a miriad of idiotic posts from various jobs all crying about how they want Hasso and it's doing my nut in.
What changes do I want to see on THF? None. I honestly couldn't think of anything that would improve the job without "breaking the game" once you reach a certain point. Not from a damage perspective anyway. I half-jokingly asked for a provoke/claiming ability in another thread, most jobs have some form of short/instant cast spell/ability that allows them to claim shit effectively without removing their strongest aspects. THF is reduced to subbing DRK, WAR, WHM, BLM, anything except NIN to stand a decent chance of claiming a contested mob and it limits our potential. I should be able to stroll out to Behemoth's Dominion every day as THF/NIN and stand a good chance of claiming and soloing that shit instead of dragging some other fool out there to keep me alive so I can spam Stun/Provoke every window. I can see potential downsides to this already, but it's a personal grievance and I demand SE does something to please me.

Treasure Pitch: Recast 0:05, Duration NA,
Description: Hurls loose change from an adventurer's wallet at an enemy. Requires and expends 2,000g per use.
Damage is similar to Bash effects, enmity is a base unit of CE and VE. The cost makes it worthwhile in specific situations(claiming), while also making it impractical for abusing whilst meriting or the like.

It doesn't mention Stun anywhere, he simply suggested the damage caused would be similar to that of Shield/Weapon Bash. The five second timer seems a bit silly though, increase it to 30 seconds - 1 minute and I'd be happy enough.

Don't really see why. The recast timer is pretty irrelevant when you have to pay 2,000g per use. That's incredibly impractical for something like meriting or farming(Sky, Sea, etc.), and an NM/HNM is only going to pop once anyway, so you have nothing to gain from it being on a 0:05 timer.

That's exactly my point
The timer means nothing, put it on a 5 second timer and someone will find a way to abuse it. I fail to see SE adding something like this on such a short timer, even if it would be horribly expensive, 30 seconds to a minute will keep it in line with all the other claiming abilities out there. People will start screaming bloody murder if you give one job the ability to claim something every 5 seconds.
It's a good idea, a rarity in the forums these days, I'm just making it slightly more practical in case someone happens to be reading.

I just saw "Bash" and "Similar".
I guess for claiming I don't see why not but not every job needs to have a long distance voke speed ability.

Most already do. Given that our speciality is soloing/duoing, I think giving people a greater chance of doing so against mobs that are heavily camped is one of the best things you could do for THF. It's not easy tanking Behemoth as THF/DRK you know.

Aww OP never bit back, how boring. I guess I'll start with Tsuko then. You "quit" for what, 2-3 days? That big whitegate scene for a couple days reprieve? Oh and hi Treelol. How's your homegurl Treffa? You two were identical thieves once, teaching her the ropes at all?

Tsuko had reasons for "Quitting".
