Got my 3 items needed for the quest, obviously my monk is 71+, and according to Norg NPC I have level 6 fame. I have also completed the Fistful of Fury quest.

I talk to Vola and all he says is something about 'we should spar sometime' or something like it. I go to walk out the Neptune's Spire door at J-7 in hopes to recieve my CS from the Taru, but nothing.

So what am I missing here?

Go get more fame. That's the only thing that can be missing if you're 71 Monk and have completed the Brown Belt quest.

If thats what the guys tells you and you still cant get it, I'd go with Path and try to raise your fame.

Also not to rule anything out, but you don't have the quest already flagged?

I'm pretty sure you need Rank 7 fame. I was inexplicably unable to flag it, killed Leviathan Prime again and viola! CS.

If you've done brown belt then it has to be fame. That's an easy enough fix. If that doesn't work either, try trading the wyrm beard to the tenshodo door to make sure you haven't already triggered it. I think that is the trade order? Beard > Tounge > Egg? I know egg is last. Of course you can't trade them consecutively u gotta talk to an npc between each trade.

It's amazing how many people are 2/3 only needing egg and keep the beard and tounge for the -2 inv space when you can trade them as you get them.. unless you get beard last lol

Somehow I can see that happening since Behemoth can be soloed and Adamantoise isn't too hard.

Fafnir is a lot harder than either of them, to my knowledge.

Adam solo requiers a LOT of luck with adds. I tried it, draw in always always always always made me link.. drove me inSANE I couldn't take him solo.
