I was wondering if there is a site that has all the possible items requested for GP broken down by guild and Novice through Veteran?

I will admit that I have not searched ridiculously extensively, but I couldn't find anything on it on FFXIAH, Titanicus, FFXI Wiki, several other guild pattern sites, or here.

As far as I understand the guild pattern sites there are only certain patterns based on rank, but I am still having a hard time trying to predict what the next items may be over the next few days.

Is it just that random that there is no way to tell until that day?

The reason that I ask is because atm I am leveling fishing, I am sitting on a hoard of crystal bass right now waiting for them to come up so I can turn them in.

I am wondering if I should wait to rank up any further to increase my chances of gaining points and keeping my list of possibles down (from what I gather the higher the rank the broader the range of possible requested items).

Am I off my rocker to try and just build up max points and keep my rank low just to be able to accumulate them faster? Or are there just too many items possible no matter the rank to realistically hoard sets of several of the more commonly requested ones?

In the mean time I have cooking @ 64 and have already bought the sushi key item. I can go fish Nebs for income and finish leveling cooking while I am trying to build GP on fishing.

I would have asked this in stickies but it seems like that thread has not been looked at in some time.

All they say is you can turn in item's for GP and to check the 3 big guild trackers for which they are asking for that day.

Thank you for that, bummed that the fishing has not been added t it yet, oh well i guess i can parse through them and find it the long way lol.

What do you think about my idea to try and build points while keeping skill low? It would mean I would only have to save the novice ranked items to turn in.
crystal bass go for like 300 a piece with a cap of 3k

I did the math last night I am 5k away from serpents rumors if I save up that now I can go through the levels building as well.

Or am I crazy?

I'd personally skill up whilst getting GP. The higher the rank, the more GP you can get per day potentially.

Why would you want to stay at a low skill level?

The higher the rank the broader the spectrum of items that can be requested if I am not mistaken. But I think you are right, it is not hard to go out and find the fish they are asking for each day. It was a little harder trying to get the cooking guild items.

higher rank = more points per day. staying at low lvls to build up GP is just silly and a waste of time
