Q: Are there any special requirements you can fulfill, or enemies you can defeat, that will increase the drop rate of equipment?
Itou: There are special tricks in place, but nothing that affects the drop rate.
Q: Salvage Gear has caused Wootz Ore to skyrocket in price. Do you plan on alleviating this issue through having it drop in other Dynamis zones, or perhaps lowering the amount required?
Itou: It’s possible that we will introduce new methods to obtain Wootz Ore in the next Version Update. The possibility is there, but it’s not set in stone.

Q: It feels like the drop rate of Necropsyche was lowered. Was this adjusted in some way?
Hayashi: It has not been adjusted.
Q: Can you give us any solid info about item drops? For instance, how exactly was the rate increased during the September 9, 2008 update that raised drop rates?
Developers: We cannot give you any data regarding conditions or rates surrounding item drops.

Q: What specifically can I do in order to keep Fragment-related NMs interested so they don’t depop?
Itou: Within the allotted time, you want to try multiple techniques, including, but not limited to: Inflicting status effects, using special abilities, avoiding the usage of special abilities, using magic, avoiding the usage of magic, using ranged attacks, avoiding the usage ranged attacks, inflicting large amounts of damage and kiting it. I cannot give you an answer as to how these affect each NM individually.
Q: Is there a point at which you have fully grabbed the NM’s attention? Is it just about extending the length of the fight? Also, does any of this increase the chance of a drop?
Itou: Keeping their attention will increase the length of the fight. I cannot give you an answer regarding any possible connections with their drop rate.

Q: You stated in a previous interview that areas were not going to be adjusted to allow multiple groups to enter at the same time. Is there still no possibility of Dynamis seeing this kind of adjustment?
Itou: Making a system which would allow for multiple groups to enter one area simultaneously would require a lot of time. I believe altering the underlying system in such a fashion could take years. Alternative methods for allowing players more time in Dynamis could become a reality, and we will work on that.
Q: In Dynamis-Tavnasia and other “CoP Dynamis” areas, many people often come out dissatisfied. There are few time extensions and Relic equipment won’t drop before defeating the boss, not to mention other frustrating characteristics. Are there any plans to extend the allotted time, or adjust these areas in some beneficial way?
Itou: It’s possible we may adjust this.

Q: Out of all the recently added relic equipment, it feels as if BLU, COR and PUP pieces drop a lot, but DNC and SCH pieces barely ever drop? Do the equipment drop rates differ by job, and does this extend to the already existing jobs?
Hayashi: There is no difference between the different jobs. The drop rates are all equal.
Q: Do you plan to add anymore Dynamis areas in the future?
Itou: There are still no plans to do so. We would like to continue adjusting existing content first.

Q: Please tell us more details about Relic Weapons and their Weaponskills.
Developers: We cannot provide any answers regarding the abilities and intricacies of such rare items.
