And Ballista is like a mini game inside of a huge game. It's still an entirely lame way to guage a FFXI players skill, unless the skill conversation relates specifically to Ballista.

just been reading the thread and i had to laugh at something drag said... and post a response.

In what world are dirt bikers or power lifters considered world class athletes? honestly, i find it takes no effort to sip down a protein shake, take some no explode, and eat chicken all day. Oh yeah and going to the gym to work out. Power lifting sucks, im well aware, but in no way do you have to be athletic to be an effective power lifter.

And honestly, dirt biking just seems a little meh to me. Surely it is exciting and i enjoy certain aspects of it. But beyond incredible balance and control of the bike, i don't see many dirt bikers where i think what an incredible athlete they are. Not trying to dis anyone here, but i just don't find either sports (if they warrant such a title) to be that incredibly based on athleticism.
