Is there deffinatly a way you can turn off the one-time password? I really cba with entering a password each time but want the extra space...

Go to the SE site(here)) and log in to your SE account.

On the left, you'll see a "Security Expansion" tab, click it then click "next" button on the page.

Then you'll see the option "Security Token Removal". Click it, then click next, then follow the instructions.


Do not cancel your Square-Enix account, once you link it with your POL account, it can never be unlinked.

If anyone happens to have canceled their Square-Enix account, you won't be able to log into FFXI. If that happens, call custom support and tell them what happened.


I do have one question for anyone, does anyone know if you can simply save your "Square-Enix" password on POL login page?

I thought it was safer to have password saved instead of typed due to key logging risks, so do they have a save option for SE password in POL viewer?

Also can the first post be updated to reflect new information findings?

gave me account to a friend for a week......

got it back today....

couldnt log on... attempted 8 times.....

token was fucking up......

he was next to me trying on his Pc i had a laptop....

didnt work.....

then it did.... anyone know wtf happened.... ? lol
