Dont know about anyone else here but things i have noticed in the past few months at endgame and merit partys. Notice when in a meripo with regular non ballista players yeah its good, but ballista meripo seem 2 do it better? our reactions are much faster, we never miss a WS from being to far, our survival skills are better, we always know whats going on around us? Maybe its just me lol.

As far endgame its pretty much the same as stated above, you always get people missing stuns due to rubbish reactions/not paying attention ballista players always have an eye open? I had more in mind earlier till i started this topic but cant think atm.

Whats ur thoughts about this?

I always tell people who compliment on my fast reaction time it's because of Ballista.

I tottally agree, on Ultima all BLMs in my LS miss Disspaction or w/e that TP move is every 20% or w/e I Stun it MOST THE TIME, I also stun Khim's Fullmulation very well and I'm always aware of whats going on during a PT and whereever I go I think this is due to ballista. And when I'm on a DD job and I see a mob ready a TP move that can hurt or a magic sell (-aga or what not) I'm saying to my self gdi why does blade bash have such a long recast LOL (mines not merited more then once) because I know BLMs wont stun that ><.

There's obviously good aspects to doing ballista, however I've noticed that most ballista players seem to have more aggressive personalities...leading to more head butting so to speak.

Having such a competitive personality may not set well with our more reserved friends in the HNM only scene. These aforementioned friends tend to stray away from direct confrontation, instead proving their worth in terms of hours spent mulling around a certain spot looking for a single monster.
