I just had a thought as I was deciding a name for my newest baby Chocobo, I wonder what other cool names people have picked for their Chocobos??

If this thread gets a few posts do you reckon the Mods would sticky it?

This is a fun topic. I really like the chocobo naming system, though sometimes I wish I could just select one name (like "Quake" or "Freeze") instead of having to pick two. I guess I could let the NPC pick, but it wouldn't be as cool...

Anyways, I tend to name my chocobos after I find out their colour. The males I try to name after Ancient Magic (matching colour), whilst the females I name after a gemstone matching their colour.

Black chocobos:
ObsidianStorm (Male)
BlackDiamond (Female)

Green chocobos:
IronTornado (Male)
DancingJade (Female)

Yellow chocobos:
QuakeTalon (Male)
SweetAmber (Female)

Red chocobos:
SmokingFlare (Male)
BlazingRuby (Female)

Blue chocobos:
FreezeClaw (Male)
FrostyQuartz (Female)

I have several other names, such as "ShootingStar" for some of my other chocobos. I have also 'reserved' names in the event we'll be able to raise other colour chocobos... I am still praying that the white chocobo will be allowed to become raised by players. I will call my white chocobo "FlyingSnow!"

My first chocobo was a yellow female, named her LilyBonbon. :3 She had a male yellow also, which I named HyperGalaxy 83. Im still raising him.

EDIT: BTW, incase you're wondering the choice in names... it takes people off guard when you do Camp Kweh... and ask people if they would like to see your "FattyCoq", or pet your...well... you get the idea.
