Ok, well I was one of the first people on Titan (NA) to get their DNC to 75. I mostly just merited the job until I got hooked into an evasion setup.

Without Boxer's Mantle right now, I have 285 evasion skill +71 evasion bonus. (Still working on Ermine's Tail!)

Currently with this setup I can solo Charybdis fairly easily as well as a long list of other NMs.
I'm buying a Camera and will post a video of the solo within the next few weeks. Not high on priorities (and I have to pop the damn thing)
Currently NMs that can be solo'ed with this setup (as far as I know, I don't list some and have yet to try many)

*Charybdis (Fan Dance isn't "needed" but it makes the fight almost as easy as Lord of Onzozo. Make sure Fan Dance can be used as soon as Charybdis hits 7% HP)
*Tyrannic Tunnok
*Shikigami Weapon
*Lord of Onzozo
*All WSNM can be duo'd with RDM
*Lindwurm
*Bune duo with BRD
*Narasimha
*Ose (Very very very difficult and completely depends on luck. Died 8x+ attempting until a success.)
*Kreutzet
*Bugbear Matman
*Da'Dha Hundredmask duo with BRD or RDM (Patrician's Cuffs Notorious Monster in Bedeaux[S])
*Behemoth Easily duo'd. Probably shouldn't even count him he's so easy.

Oh and I DO NOT have any relic besides boots at the moment. Charybdis can be stunned a fairly good % of the time long enough to get Ichi off, and then some.

Remember Dancers! Evasion Skill may very well be better than bonus, but bonus sure as hell adds up to something Fierce!
With max Eva setup, my dnc will have 295skill+72 during daytime and 295skill+80 during Night.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of the Patriachs hands, I was thinking Denali hands were best with +6 eva and -2% dmg, but oh well. How long did Charby take? and how long were the other fights?

*Shikigami Weapon can range from 30 mins to an hour and a half depending on your strategy
*Lord of Onzozo exactly 30 minutes.
*All WSNM can be duo'd with RDM around 30 minutes each
*Lindwurm 30-45min
*Bune an hour to 2 hours
*Narasimha 45 minutes
*Ose 30 minutes
*Kreutzet 30-55 minutes
*Bugbear Matman 25-30 mins. Really easy.
*Da'Dha Hundredmask duo with BRD or RDM duoing, it takes about an hour. Alot of HP.
*Behemoth depends completely on what job you duo it with.

The only exceptions I can see are getting a gnole crown and keeping those emissary boots, but I'm an evasion purist and wont trade for parry even in greater numbers.

Oh, and put fastcast on that +10 eva body. Not acc.

That was actually just posted by someone and replied to by myself today, you might find it educational.

I really wish people would stop using eva skill earrings/hands, especially since the only slot where quantities are equal is hands... In earrings you sacrifice 3-4 eva and feet you only sacrifice 1, and gain 5 parry skill which is why it's a potential exception if you're going for overall solo viability versus just pure evasion.

First of all, Dancer cannot use Ungur boomerang.

Second of all, I'd take patrician's cuffs over denali wristbands any day except on WS. Even then they aren't the best.
Sacrificing accuracy for evasion can be a problem while soloing mobs lvl 80+ so I put accuracy on the mirke. I don't need fastcast.
Fastcast is great yeah sure, but I'd rather have the accuracy honestly, because if i need 1-3 seconds I can just stun the damn thing.

Sure I could buy a Triton earring, but I never see them for sale. And you expect everyone to have a Novia earring? Whatever.

You're obviously a thief and not dancer or you would know the certain things needed for the job. 10acc is better than fastcast for dancer. Period. No ifs ands or buts.

And I'm in the process of getting Ermine's Tail. It's a rare drop and I'm 0/15 on the stupid thing.

Could go back and forth talking about how fast cast vs 10acc could go, but for my uses, 10acc blows 3fastcast out of the water. Mirke with acc and eva is the best dnc armor in the game. Antares is almost on par with it, but the STR bonuses on pyrihic Kleos mod the potency of the eva down making it even better.

Oh, and using a empress pin at 75 is kind of sad. Macro it in, but using it fulltime is disgraceful.

You wasted your ACP body on a god damn Scorpion harness+1 1/2. Being able to get something like Fast cast on a body piece is a serious bonus to soloing.

Fast cast on that body is 5% faster ni and ichi, and 5% less recast.
It's better than Raparee for utsu by epic margins, putting evasion on it just makes it an amazing utsu swap or piece to turtle in while soloing or tanking.

You can get acc on half a dozen bodies. TP in those. You're forsaking a significant improvement to your ability to keep shadows up and not get hit while doing so, just for some stats on your evason body. It's called Antares Harness. TP in that. It's .5 less evasion and has ACC/DEX inaddition to being an amazing WS body for DNC.

TP in Antares, cast utsu in the fastcast body.

And you're misquoting the fastcast as 3, it's 5%.

Mirke with acc/eva best dnc body?

5 str = 2.5 atk
5 dex = 2.5 acc
5 agi = 2.5 eva

+10 acc
+10 eva

2.5 atk, 12.5 acc, 12.5 eva

v.s.

8 dex = 4 acc
8 agi = 4 eva

+8 acc
+8 eva

12 acc, 12 eva, and 3 more dex for mod on WS


So, you're choosing a marginal improvement for WS numbers, and .5 acc/eva and a pinch of attack, over something that's a huge boost to your ability to keep up shadows.


Unless you're fighting stuff that rages, how fast you kill could matter less.

THF will be eating nothing but sushi on anything that bolts proc on, which is the vast majority of mobs, ACC isn't even remotely an issue with fully merited feint, and Sushi. And again back to it not mattering how fast you kill unless a mob rages.
