I read somewhere the other day that the hospitaler earring for your cure cheat would produce more enmity then hades earring+1.If this is true which the math from what i was reading seemed to indicate it is,wouldn't that make the hp from say an rse belt better than the enmity from lets say trance belt?

Not quite. What hospitaler does is allow you to push your cure past soft cap. Cure potency allows you to cure past your cure cap thus giving you more HP to cure. So lets assume your cure III cures for 200. Even if you had a gap of 500 hp to cure, you would only be allowed to cure 200 of that, because of the cap, unless you upped the cap. With Hospitaler you are allowed to squeeze 10 more HP to cure out of that. Dont laugh, that 10 extra hp you got out of it, is as potent as 7 enmity. Heres the math:
Lets assume cure III =200
And we'll work with VE, thus our multiplier will be 4.36
With hospitaler 200 x 1.05 = 210
210 x 4.36 = 915.60
now add in your current emnity, lets say +40
915.60 x 1.40 = 1281.84
Now lets take off hospitaler keeping our cures at 200
200 x 4.36 = 872.00
now add in your enmity +2 more for hades, so it will be +42
872.00 x 1.42 =1238.24 +2 enmity loses to 5% cure potency
Now lets add 2 more for a total of +4
872.00 x 1.44 =1255.68 +4 enmity loses still
Now lets add 2 more for a total of +6
872.00 x 1.46 =1273.12 +6 enmity loses still
Now lets add 1 more for a total of +7
872.00 x 1.47 =1281.84 +7 enmity is even with +5% cure potency
Not too bad for 10 HP huh. This is why hospitaler beats out hades +1 when curing, provided that you have the gap needed to cure it. For the rse vs trance belt, as long as the HP on the rse is needed to reach your cure cap, than it will be out the enmity. Example, if your cap is 200, and your current gear allows for 160 hp to cure, using the rse belt to push your cure to cure cap will beat out your enmity on your belt. However if youre like 190 or 200, then no, adding more HP will not help as you will not achieve more than 200 on your cure. And trance has +14 HP so it wouldnt help.
Hope this makes sense for you.

Realistically, I don't think any of us would spam cures like that - Sentinel, a few Cure IV's, and then tank like a badass. One thing this did show me is that Hospitlar is worth it. With an emn mod of .737 on HP's healed at lvl 75, a Hospiltar Earring is like +3.5enm when curing. Never bothered with it, always though Loq + Enm earring was superior.
