If anyone would be so kind to answer, I just want to know this:
Let's say I have 10000 GP with the Cooking Guild.
Also, let's say I have Woodworking at 30(capped) and I want to raise it further.
Do I have to 'formally' switch guilds in order to give the test item for Woodworking? In other words, can I give the test item for Woodworking without actually signing up to their guild and thus lose my Cooking GP.
I ask because I just want to skillup other crafts and at the same time keep building my GP with Cooking. Just wanted to know if this was possible.
Thanks in advance.

Test items have nothing to do with GP. You'll keep your cooking GP as long as you don't switch guild contracts to another guild.
