Hi,

This is not another thread asking to rate my gear or anything I just want to make sure I got this right since I just got my Hecatomb Harness on the weekend. So please tell me if I got this figured out right.

Mandalic Stab(grr so need this)/Shark Bite = Str and Attk
DE and Evis = Dex and Acc

I am not worried about how much or what to put where I will test those but making sure this is right will save me a lot of time testing. I am mithra with no str or dex or dagger merits yet.

Thank you very much for any and all help. Again I am just needing to clarify I am understanding my job and ws's correctly.

Thank you

and for the sake of making you feel like your new found heca harness is useless (yes i love crushing dreams)

mandalic stab is 30% dex mod
shark bite is 50% dex mod
dancing edge is 20% dex 30% chr mod
evis is 30% dex mod
mercy stroke is 60% str mod

this is all according to wiki at least, i don't care if numbers are slightly off. but yeah, aside from mercy stroke (relic ws) no str mods for thf

multi-hits (de and evis) generally do need a bit more acc than sb or ms, so yes you could prob swap in more att for those.

I hate to break it to you, but a Hecatomb harness is a distant 4th runner up in a solo Evisceration piece, and unless you have a mandau or have WAR leveled, it's probably going into your storage. It's got a fair bit of acc on it, but you're generally better off using a skadi body, antares, or dragon harness (in that order), since they contain modifiers that actually increase your overall damage. The former 2 have even have a bit of acc on them as well to help with your multi-hits. Hopefully you have one of these 3 pieces for your SAWS already...

Then i guess its a good thing i am working war up lol. Thank you for clearing that up, now i know i was heading in the wrong direction.

Yes i have Dragon, had it at lvl 70 so i was prepared. Hoping someday to own Antares, I am blm as well and can only afford 1 salvage body so morrigans it is for me.

Thank you again for setting me straight, i will adjust macros and all that important stuff as soon as i get home.
