Well I'm a DRK and after I got DRK 50+, I wanted to be RNG because of the stuff I farm and camp requires widescan+treasure hunter and most importantly, RNG just blow everything away. Now that I'm a 60+ DRK, I'm closing in on 75 in the near time future and plan to buy kraken club whenever I make 25million but I don't want to be a DRK/NIN with kraken. I want to be a RNG/NIN with kraken and just be able to solo some HNMs and participate in HNM alliances, but I hear the problem is RNG's melee is very very weak that RNG with kraken does 0 damage. I don't know many RNGs with kraken on Asura, I just know BSTs with kraken(cause most high level BSTs can eventually afford it). Also, what is the club rating for RNG.

Any 75RNG/NIN can write down a list of some HNMs kraken isn't effective at all on or is very effective on? I know it will let monster build TP but that's another story.

I'm talking bout HNMs such as Gods, Fafnir, KB, Admantoise etc. The HQ and the NQ versions of em and whatsoever and thanks for the info.

You'll never hit with it. Ranger club skill is too low.

You'll lose -11/-7 ranged acc dependant on whether you swap out fransisca or hawkers.

You'll give the mob too much tp..

Its fun to play around with, but its a rubbish weapon that can only be used on the lowest of the low nms (eg. simurgh.. ).

For HNM you want all + rnged acc and attack. Francisca and hawker's knife is the best bet. For farming and perhaps exp it may have use, otherwise not really.

alright, thanks, no wonder the bst in my ls left out RNG on the poll of choices to use kraken with. I guess NIN DRK WAR are the choices up for par. That helps a bit to dissuade me to not save up for kraken. After seeing that DRK/NIN use kraken on adamantoise, I thought there could be another way of using it with RNG spamming WS. Thanks for the info

Yes something like Adamantoise or regular behemoth are ok, Its also possible to use in dynamis. Anything harder than that its not going to be worthwhile.
